Surprised there was no air-conditioning in what looks like a new ish building. Thanks again, this will be our go to place when we ever visit Swansea. 」

「Nice property. Excellent location, with parking a bonus, and a lift. Overall excellent. Only comments to make is that the single bed nearest window is past sell by date and we had to turn mattress over first night as we could feel springs and uncomfortable. Minor suggestions are complimentary shower/shampoo in bathrooms would have been nice. Asking us to remove bedding off beds at end '' because of Covid'' was unnecessary. Good instructions and contact with hosts. Would be happy to recomend.」

「Very lovely main lounge area with woodburing stove - great breakfasts with especially great staff too for breakfast and dinner service and Bar on the evening the restaurant was closed. Would very much like to come and stay again - Other guests had walked down to the 3 cliffs bay and we did not have enough time for this - easy drive to university where we were seeing our daughter . 」

「Culver House is in such a perfect position for a few days away or even a week in the warmth. The apartments have all you need and were clean with fluffy towels. The wonderful part, you are just a few steps away from the dunes and beach and only a few steps away from the local pub. The owners are warm and welcoming. Just what we needed after being cooped up for so long!」

「Loved the location of this hotel in Swansea. Beach on the doorstep, Marina with bar’s & restaurants a stones throw away and city centre within easy walking distance. The inside of the hotel and service was great. The outside of the hotel looked tired & a little like a dated community centre. The big tall building in the background is not the hotel. 「Very big room, perfectly comfortable and bathroom was huge. Shower water pressure was excellent. Some peeling paint in the bedroom and noise insulation not as good as it could be - we could clearly hear the entertainment in one of the conference rooms underneath our room. Nice to have 2 types of pillow and book with ideas for what to do in the local area. Some of the reception spa staff were not as welcoming as the rest of the hotel (beautician was very helpful). 「This hotel is right next to one of the best Gower beaches. Once you have arrived after battling through the narrow Gower roads, you may well not need the car again until departure. On the spot are beach and coastal path walks, and there is an adequate bus service for trips further away. The staff are high quality and engaging, but (probably to be expected for the location) this is not a cheap hotel. Example prices are £4.50 for a pint of beer and £14.95 for fish and chips.
