"Hardworking manager was pleasant and helpful. Bed mattress and pillows provided a comfortable night’s sleep. This older property is clean. A pool, jacuzzi and on-sight bar are nice guest amenities. Modest breakfast with great coffee suited our needs. Worn wooden balcony and dated, very worn sinks in both the room and bathroom need replacing. This is an affordable lodging choice in small town northern Wisconsin."

"The hotel was nice and clean. The pool was very nice and clean also, but the hot tub was under repair. The staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was good for a hotel. It was good stay all around."

"This was a quick thought out mini vacation. The cabin we chose ended up being a quaint, cozy and charming cabin. Very clean and set in a quiet location that you couldn’t tell you were close to town. The water was only a 1-2 minute walk to one of the docks. Was sitting on the dock the morning and a magnificent Bald Eagle flew in front of me, perched in a tree on the other side of the water, then flew down caught a fish in its talons and flew off. Fishing wasn’t as great as I had hoped, but we had a great time in the North Woods. Highly recommend this cabin. Also met some very nice people in some of the other cabins."
