“Check-in process was frustrating. Parking is limited. There was trash in my room left from a previous guest. They advertise a beach shuttle but make sure if you’re not getting picked up at a specific time that you call early, they don’t always answer the phone or check their voicemail. Then when the front desk employee finally picked up the phone, she said another couple had just called and she’d pick me up next, and while I was still talking she hung up on me so I ended up just walking back. “Rooms have the bare basics. No usb plugs or safe. The staff tell you nothing of the amenities or problems with the hotel upon check-in so access to email and text is a must for communication. Checked in on 07/10/26, Friday at around 3:30. Was told by other guest that elevators were working off and on. Saturday at approximately 8:00 pm, stood at elevators for 20 minutes, both elevators were down. Front desk advised that we would need to take the stairs. We were on the 8th floor. No signs on the……

“Amazing property”

“I really enjoyed watching the sunset at the Porch Bar every evening! And not to mention that they had a Jazz performance (The Joy Jazz Band) in the lounge area Thursday evening and then the Jazz Band playing again Saturday morning with such a large Amazing Breakfast menu!!!! Beautiful Island but much enhanced by such Beautiful accommodations. Highly Recommend, Dr. Wright!”

“We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is well-priced and includes parking and breakfast with a hot grab-and-go breakfast sandwich option. The $7/day unlimited shuttle to downtown Charleston is a total steal and incredibly convenient. The staff was highly attentive, helpful, and focused on comfort. A lovely bonus was the evening snack station featuring sweet and salty treats with cold fruit-infused water. Will stay here again.”

“First of all, the amenities were above and beyond what we expected, having breakfast brought to our room each day, having wine and cheese in the afternoon before dinner and then milk and cookies at night. Coffee and tea, plus water, iced tea, lemonade and candy available 24 hrs per day was fantastic. at The staff was amazing and very helpful. The room was very nice. Even had an outdoor terrace. Would definitely recommend this place for any vacationers!!!”
