Absolutely horrible, the smell of urine was so strong and hen we first got there I almost threw up. It is a residential motel. Only gave it one star because it was the lowest option. Please read all reviews. Some must be from family or friends. No way anyone would truly rate this place a 10

Pleasantly surprised by this motel. Convenient location, very quiet, very safe. I will definitely be staying there again next time we come to Bosque Del Apache. We really enjoyed our stay at this little place.

Do yourself a favor and keep going... Front desk nice. Relatively quiet. Conveniet. Very good water pressure in shower. Filthy. Very outdated. Very worn. Black mold in several area , Multiple cigarette burns worn out linen and blankets, Sained wash clothes. Old. Nasty(in and out). Honestly, It should be reported, condemned and shut down. It's a health hazard. Simply put, it shouldn't even be offered on Expedia or anywhere else... It's a hard NO! Keep going! We have visited to many places around including 3rd world countries as missionaries and this is at the very bottom....

For budget lodging, San Miguel Inn is a great option. The rooms were clean, the inn was quiet, and although the facility is a little run down, the owners are making caring renovations. The inn felt safe too, with good lighting, what seems to be a community of long-term tenants, and lots of kids' toys in front of units. I'll happily stay here again on future trips around Socorro.

You get what you pay for. I could not tell if the property was falling apart, or simply in the midst of repair. It seemed safe enough. But it simply seemed to be falling apart. No ice. No breakfast. But, thankfully, hot water.

Sleep only nothing else!

Cheap room, bed ok, a couple of towels you could see through, chairs that were filthy and bottomed out. Why did we stay? Price! But never again.

Nice overnight

I enjoyed my overnight stay at the San Miguel Inn. The room was clean and quiet. The location is convenient. The room was a little dated and was missing a microwave but it did have a refrigerator. I had a nice chat with the owner the morning I left. The housekeepers all said good morning when they saw me. I will stay here again on my next visit to Socorro.

The room was a good size. The TV did not work and neither did the coffee maker. It is an old property in need of a renovation. Loose tiles on the structurally unsound second floor walkway. Advertised continental breakfast but there was none. Not even coffee in the office. Family owned and operated. Nice and freindly owner.

The sheets smelled clean. The room did not. It was just sort of dumpy. Cracks in the wall. There was a cigarette burn on the sheet. There was significant trash in the parking lot and outside the hotel room. We won't stay there again. I should have known: never buy the cheapest thing. Oh well, I guess I got my money's worth.

This motel is quite possibly the worst on the entire planet. Not only was it dirty and run down, but is smelled bad. There were two televisions in the room, why? There was no light fixture haggling above the table, just a bulb. The carpets were worn out and soiled. And the curtains would not close properly. We were so disappointed that we just booked a room in another motel. Stay away from this no-tell motel! I will be seeking a refund from Expedia.

San Miguel Inn needs work - OK for one night

When I entered the room I was surprised. I reserved a King size bed, this was a full size (I found out later the king size was on the second floor - I wanted first floor). The TV was on the desk (couldn't use my computer), there was no chair at the desk, so I got mine from the car. I called the MGR he said he would bring one, I said I already was using mine. The TV remote only works some functions, you have to use two remotes. The bathroom was scary, toilet not on the floor-rocking. The Shower door was open, try to shut it wouldn't shut. Sink was OK. The floor were dirty, took my shoes off and was walking on stuff. I spoke with MGR in general about the condition and they're improving the rooms - already has a new window air system (has Auto feature - nice)

Do not recommend.

Room was very hot because nobody turned on any air, even though we had a reservation. Front desk wasnt sure we had a reservation, actually, and it took a while to check in. Beds are very old, but not uncomfortable. Sheets look clean, but very thin. Blankets are super thin and not super comfortable. Window unit took hours to cool down room, but it eventually was nice and cool. Carpet was stained, had holes, and was a bit dirty. WiFi not given at first - we had to go back to ask, and connection was spotty. No info in room. Pillows are small and go super flat. Only 2 per bed. In a 3 bed room, only 3 towels and they were thin and stiff. Bathroom door has huge weird line cut off at top and is super loud. Bathroom is TINY and includes no soaps, etc. Toilet is wobbly. Bathroom is painted badly and floor was dirty around all the edges - also, it gets super hot. TV worked fine to hook up to my laptop by their HDMI cable. There is NO BREAKFAST. I went to ask in the morning, and she said no and would not even let me into the tiny lobby. I had to pay $20 to check out 2 hours late, which was fine, but the guy on the phone had told me it was free. Had to use old trick of clip hangers to hold curtains closed. Hanging light is low and was easy to hit. Hanging towel rack inside bathroom fell apart multiple times. Water out of the sink was milky white. Phone not working at all.

Nice enough motel

The beds were great, the water pressure in the shower was good. The A/C worked well, and was easy to use. The toilet-paper was high-quality, better than I've seen in rooms I've paid over three times as much for. The room was comfortable, and the price was right. There were a couple of roaches in the sink and the bathroom, however... If that's not a deal-breaker for you, then San Miguel Inn is a great option!
