Excellent place to stay, a great home away from home. Quiet and peaceful. Full kitchen allowed us to cook many of our meals. Host was so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again!

SUPER FABULEUX ACCUEIL

Nous avons eu des problème de G P S étant français et ne parlant pas l anglais nous avons un peu paniqués et dérangé JACQUIE notre hote pour venir nous chercher au centre ville de soldotna nous avons passé un excellent séjour et appris beaucoup sur la vie en ALASKA .Je recommande cette adresse à tous les français en voyage en ALASKA Nous étions 2 mais possibilité de 5 couchages cuisine très bien équipée++++Merci JACQUIE

We are very new to VRBO, but I made a fantastic choice when I chose Jackie's lovely studio. She sent me directions and we ended up texting and finding out about each other. I felt like she was a friend from the beginning and she went above and beyond to make our stay as wonderful as possible. She got us flowers because we were celebrating our anniversary as well as a bottle of wine and local treats. I am obsessed with moose and she made sure that I tried all the places possible to see them and boy did we. The best one was close to where she lived. We got some of the most fantastic photos of this huge Mama moose that we later found out had a baby. Everything in our room was so very comfortable. We had access to a grill to cook some fantastic fish that Jackie shared with us. I highly recommend anyone staying at any property that Jackie hosts. Jackie and her husband went above and beyond for us and we are very grateful because this was a very special trip for us.

Such a lovely place

This property is an efficiency apartment on the ground floor of a lovely home. The owners are right upstairs and completely available to answer questions and assist with problems. In addition to the apartment, there are 29 acres of property, and I loved wandering around in the quiet and beauty. I would go there again anytime. Love. Love. Love!!

Perfect Jumping Off Spot

This VRBO was everything we needed for our short stay in Alaska. The full kitchen setup and multiple bed options were great for us fixing meals, snacks and coffee times. The wooded setting at the end of the road provided peace, quiet and a couple of encounters with local wildlife. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and fun to talk with. We can hardly wait to come again.

Fantastic Stay

The property was excellent! Jackie and Jason were so kind and helpful. Answered all my questions. We’re so knowledgeable on fishing and the local area. Freezer was perfect. Their son helped us with the catch. The property was immaculate! Wonderful modern kitchen. Comfortable beds. Jackie and Jason couldn’t do enough for us. We made new friends! Were were blessed to find this property!

Amazing

This is a gem! Jackie was amazing and super helpful. Her communication was awesome and very personable. She was also able to give local recommendations and great hospitality. Having a freezer at the location helped tremendously get the fish ready for travel. Jackie goes out of her way to help in anyway possible.

Very good location: quiet and out of the way yet minutes from town. Host is extremely easy to communicate with. Check in and out process was very smooth. Accommodations are great with a very nice kitchenand comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again!

Southern Hospitality in Alaska

Jackie and Jayson could not be more gracious or hospitable hosts! They helped arrange fish processing, offered a cooler, discussed the local eateries/breweries, etc. They are terrific individuals, and I'm confident they will do everything in their power to make your stay enjoyable. As for the accommodations, exactly what 4 grown men on a fishing trip were seeking. Clean, cozy, off the beaten path but less than 5 minutes to town, freezer for fish, fully-stocked kitchen, shower/tub combo, etc. You won't be disappointed!!

Great Place to Stay

Jackie and Jayson went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a wonderful experience. We were contacted prior to our arrival to see if there was anything we needed in particular that they could provide for us, which was extremely thoughtful. The property was very clean and well laid out and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jackie and Jayson made the stay so nice with their hospitality and were very welcoming. We highly recommend this place and plan to stay here again next time we are in the area. Thank you again Jackie and Jayson!

It’s a Gem! Super clean!

This was the perfect place to stay for our family. Everything was so clean and very comfortable . We had looked at several places in the Kenai Soldotna area and I’m glad we found this one. Owners had very good communication with us though our stay and even had fresh bread sitting on the table for us.

One of the best

I use VRBO a lot, all over the country. I travel for work more than I care to admit. This trip was a vacation and the last thing I wanted was a headache and Jackie came through with flying colors. Her friendly and helpful communication was perfect, her hospitality (even stocking a few treats in the room according to our preferences) was unrivaled in my experience. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, there was virtually no noise (which is nice when you're waking up at 3am to catch the tide for some salmon fishing and you come back at 2pm and you need a nap!). We even utilized Jackie's son Anderson for all of our fish processing needs. We brought him 18 silver salmon and 8 Halibut and he did an awesome job for a fair price. The only complaint I heard from our group was regarding shower pressure. I am not that picky so I didn't really care, but one of the guys in our group would have preferred a stronger shower. Aside from that, I would absolutely recommend Jackie as a host and we will definitely be back!

Wonderful, immaculate studio.

This basement studio was lovely and immaculate. The furnishings and appliances were excellent quality. Our hostess could not have been more helpful. We loved our stay and would return here.
