The room itself is quite outdated—and while there was a washing machine, we couldn't figure out how to use it—but given the price and location, it's great value for money. "We had a lovely three-night stay at Salona Palace Hotel and would definitely recommend it. It’s a very nice four-star hotel with good facilities, including a spa with a sauna. The outdoor pool is much larger than the indoor pool, although both were quite cold – not really an issue when it’s hot outside. We stayed in a family room overlooking the pool, which was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was the glazed window between the bathroom and bedroom, which let both light and silhouettes into the main sleeping area. The hotel’s location in Solin worked well for us. Bus number 1 stops right outside and takes around 25–30 minutes to reach Split city centre. Ubers were also readily available and often cost around the same as the bus, only a little more during busier periods. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice to start the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return."
