“5 star Hotel. Spectacular views everywhere. 5 star dining. Was there 32 years ago, and they have made substantial upgrades. Will definitely return to do some more serious day hikes. Bring your walking poles and hiking footwear, and enjoy a beer on the terrace afterwards with the best views in the world”

“We stay in Luzern for 2 nights with sea view room, the room’s view is great and there’s the free coffee machine for us to grab a coffee and relax the whole afternoon. Me and my family enjoyed the room a lot. Be reminded that the room without air-conditioner, a stuffy room and a bit hot, need to use fan and open all window in case to let the wind come in. The welcome drink is great too, we enjoy much in the bar, a good memory in Luzern”

“We were originally booked in Lucerne, but after a less-than-ideal hotel experience, we made a last-minute switch to Villa Honegg—and it did not disappoint. Perched high on a hill, the staff greeted us with warmth and impeccable service from the moment we arrived. The views were breathtaking, and even our mountainside room felt serene and luxurious. Amenities: 5 stars. Food: 5 stars (dinner and breakfast were both exceptional). Staff: 5 stars. And yes—there’s a distinct cow scent drifting off……
