“We had a wonderful stay from August 9-17, 2025. The central air conditioning and dishwasher were much appreciated, keeping us comfortable and making cleanup easy. “This little house was quite roomy and cozy. The host provided check-in and WiFi information on request only, but responded quickly to all our questions. WiFi was spotty, which probably isn't unusual this deep in the countryside. The washer was broken when we got there. “Nicely remolded. We had an issues caused by us. The owner was there to help out within an hour. If you stay there do not lock the door lock. It’s not just a pass through knob. We locked it and of course the code meant nothing at that point. Like o said great response and we moved right along. We will stay there again ”

“We visited New River Gorge for a few days. Oak Hill was the perfect place to stay to visit Canyon Rim Vistitor Center and hike Long Point The Endless Wall Trails and drive down Fayette Station Road to the bottom on the bridge. We also went whitewater rafting at ACE Adveture Resort which was aboit a 14 minute drive away. On on drive to Oak Hill, we stopped at Standstone Falls and Grandview. The house is gorgeous. “The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because we could not get the hot tub to work while we were there. The host was very communicative and the house was very clean and had all of the amenities listed. The game room turned out to be a gem that we didn’t expect to utilize as much as we did. Would definitely recommend this rental! ”
