"We had a lovely relaxing stay at Roots hotel. Everything was immaculate and our room was made up beautifully each day. We loved our room! Staff were very welcoming and friendly and communication before our arrival was great. It’s located virtually on the doorstep of the train station which was handy. We would definitely stay again."

"Our second stay here and we will be back. Beautiful location overlooking the marina and the coast. Staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is first class. Just a couple of issues worth raising that did not detract from a fabulous week. The lifts can be a little unreliable and were not all working properly on a couple of days; there were a couple of large male groups who were well behaved but it set a slightly different tone from our last visit which felt more family friendly. As a suggestion it would be nice to have somewhere with a food offering like the Oregano in the evening. The Argo has a limited offering and the price point in Peppers is very high accepting that you get what you pay for. We will be back."
