"The hotel is beautiful and next to the river. You can rent e-bikes to ride around. Their restaurant is very nice overlooking the Douro River. Be aware that transportation to/from the hotel is limited as there are nearly no taxis in town and they only accept cash."

"You simply pay for the views at this hotel. There are no frills outside of that (which was fine for my stay) the rooms had AC which was great. The staff was nice but it seems they were understaffed and simple requests took longer than other hotels I stayed at in Portugal. The buffet breakfast was convenient as there aren’t many food choices in the area to go to. I would go back simply because of the views and the relaxing property!"

"It was such a lovely stay. Very local and easy to access yet in the middle of nature, animals and absolute calm. Hosts were lovely and the highlight for us was the breakfast! Definitely recommend when in Olhao."
