MAIN STREET:
HAMILTON HOUSE: One of "the 50 Top Educational Attractions in the Northeast"! This historic landmark features a beautiful 19th century house and picturesque grounds. The Hamilton House itself was built in 1785 and was originally the home of Elizabeth Tyson. The grounds have been restored and turned into a beautiful museum where families can get a glimpse into what life was like in the early 19th century or tour the spectacular gardens.
DOWNTOWN DOVER: A 10-minute drive brings you to the center of “the fastest growing city in New Hampshire” (US Census) – marked by shops, restaurants, bars, breweries, and more. In addition to S. Berwick's quaint and beautiful Main Street, in Dover you’ll discover even more amazing dining options – as well as breweries, museums, barber shops, and live entertainment.
DOVER's RIVERWALK: An attractive stroll in the middle of one of NH Seacoast’s busiest cities. This 1200 foot walk follows an oxbow river bend around a former mill building.
DOVER COMMUNITY TRAIL: A multi-use trail with breathtaking views of the Cocheco and Bellamy Rivers. You'll find ample scenic views, points of interest, and convenient access points along the 6.4 mile stretch. Opportunities for bicycling, walking, hiking, bird watching, and fishing. The trail is comprised of two sections: a paved urban section stretching three-quarters of a mile from the Transportation Center to Fisher Street, and a natural section, two and a half miles long following the Cocheco River from Beckwith Ballfields to Watson Road.
GARRISON HILL TOWER: Second only to Mount Agamenticus, the tower atop Garrison Hill is the best place to take in the entire seacoast region. Thanks to hard working volunteers, this popular Dover attraction has been fully restored. Scarcely visible from the road, this tower is Dover’s secret jewel. Visitors must know where to turn to climb the hill and get a natural high. Seek out this Dover landmark.
DOVER TRAIN STATION: Park your vehicle here! Amtrak Downeaster stops in Dover allowing for train travel to the city from Boston and Portland, or back and forth.

Place was the cleanest VRBO I have been in yet. Everything is well organized. The parking spot is a bit tight and not good if your car is low to the ground, but depending on time of year you can park on the street. I would note there are a lot of stairs, so keep that in mind when booking. Overall a pleasant visit. Thank you.
This property was just what we needed. An affordable, no frills space. The immediate area is up and coming and a short walk to Downtown So. Berwick with a choice of restaurants and lovely market.
We had a great time visiting our family who live close by. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance, as well as a grocery store. I had a place to work when I needed to, which is important to me. We would gladly stay here again.
We were in town for a funeral and needed a place near the church for our out of state family to stay. This place was within walking distance from the service, which was convenient. It was clean and exactly as advertised with all the necessities already provided.
we had no issues
I was just confused if there were actual tenants living in the apt.
Location was good for us.

We came up for a week and had Unit D and it was amazing. The kitchen was nice and had everything we needed to make delicious dinners during our stay. The fridge had 2 chilled glasses along with a bottle of wine. The restroom was clean and stocked with towels, shampoo and conditioner and if you need to blow dry your hair they have a hair drier too. The bedrooms were nice and spacious along with the beds being super soft. The property manager even came over to drop off extra blankets and extra floor mats for the bathroom. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay.

Solid accommodations, but unfortunate layout
I stayed for a week with my father and wife. It was a good fit for, not expensive and very close to the class we were taking in NH, but not somewhere we were eager to return to at night. The apartment layout had two core issues for our group: one bedroom can only be accessed by going through the other bedroom and the bathroom is one floor below the bedrooms. It made travelling as a group awkward - there's no privacy. The space was otherwise fine. The building itself is in middling condition - the entryway and stairwell show significant water damage and have a pervasive odor. The host was responsive to our few questions.
No response from host, inaccurate info, parking tickets
Host was very slow to reply, if he did at all. Listing, messages from host and info inside apartment all stated parking was free and legal on Weber Street. We got two tickets and when the host was contacted about it, he did not reply. Batteries to the tvs were dead and when the host responded after many hours, the response was to use another tv remote, which the batteries were also dead. Apartment was clean and a short walking distance to downtown, but lack of response or help from host was frustrating.
We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The lobby of the building is a little bit of a shock, but the apartment itself is clean and was perfect for our stay. We did have to ask for more towels and there was only one set of sheets for the two pull out beds downstairs. However, the property owner was very responsive and brought more things when we messaged him. One of the bedrooms upstairs has only one light which made it pretty dim in the evening. The AC units were on when we arrived which made unpacking and resting after arrival very pleasant! The kitchen is large with all of the amenities needed. We received our free bottle of wine which was chilling n the fridge with glasses also chilling. The coffee bar was also great and well stocked. It is located right on the border of Maine and New Hampshire. The kids walked to the bridge nearby and stood in both states at the same time. We didn't try any of the local spots in the town, but it was easy to get on th emain road and go to York which is where we were visiting. The TV/streaming worked great and overall we were very happy with this place!

The property was nice and a great place to use as a base for sight seeing in the area. It was clean and contained all the necessary amenities a traveler would need.
The apartment is cozy, comfortable and had everything plus more that I could have needed. There was a little mixup with the A/C units but Travis was right on it! Its central to downtown S.Berwick and an easy walk to coffee shops, restaurants and a grocery store. Would stay again!
The apartment description is accurate. The owner was quick to respond when I reached out. There was a fully stocked coffee and hot tea bar. They graciously left a bottle of wine in the kitchen. The neighborhood is quite and it is easy to get to many Maine tourist locations.
The process and the response from Travis were wonderful. The only issue we had was that the bathroom is 1 floor below the bedrooms. I did not look closely at the pictures, and we would have preferred the bathroom on the same floor as the bedrooms. Travis is a wonderful and attentive host!

Stay in Maine
Travis was great! Very responsive until after our stay. The place itself had some issues. Broken and missing parts on stove, towel rack fell out of the wall. We fixed it. Internet connection issues, mold in the bathroom and some other issues. We fixed some issues ourselves while we were there. We did relay everything to Travis after our stay and got no response. We wanted him to be aware of some things in case he didn’t know.
