"Nice room, bed was ok nothing special, breakfast was great! Maid service was non existent. Had to ask for clean towels. That may have to do with we didn't leave the room until after 11:00am each day, but the third day the maid cart was at our door when we left. Still did not service the room. Would stay again."

"Upon arriving at the hotel we had some preconceived concern's but all that all went away when we arrived. The outside was clean and well maintained. The inside likewise. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Even the guest mostly were pleasant and chatty. The room was clean and well maintained. The shower was glass inclosed and had great water pressure and temp. The beds are very comfortable. The room was very quiet during our 3 night stay with the exception of some littles ones having a great time on their vacation but after 10 pm we didn’t hear anything concerning. Breakfast was OKAY. Your typical set up but it did the trick. Location is good. Short drive to anything you may need in shopping or dining. We felt comfortable and safe at this location. Pikes peak and Garden of the gods are a must see…beautiful. Tip: 1. Don’t gas up at connivence store down the street of hotel. Prices are more reasonable away from hotels. 2. An ice chest will be helpful, especially if you have kids to keep drinks in. And chapstick too. 3. The drive to the Summit of Pikes peak is no joke. If you're not comfortable with a few hair-pin turns, high on a mountain, then there is a train that takes you up as well. Also, bring warm clothes incase a brief bout of freezing weather come as it did when we were there. Some people only had t-shirts and shorts on when the temps dropped below 40 degrees with sleet and gusty cold winds. The views are amazing though."

"Our second night was similar to the first. Nice bed and pleasant very young staff that seemed like they were all brand new at their jobs. The place is kept up poorly and understaffed. Room is outdated with a slight odor, chipped furniture, a loud old air conditioner that didn’t fully cool the room, and one tiny bar of soap. Breakfast includes a set up and tease for an omelet bar that never happens. There is a pleasant veneer to this hotel that fails to cover up inattentive cleaning and service. It was a disappointing place where the photos and reviews were much better than reality. We wondered if there was a new management that was cutting back on services and staff."

"Clean room & comfortable bed. Room temp stayed the same no matter what was done with thermometer. Breakfast limited; do not recommend eating the muffins. Quick dining area could use staff attention. Overall, good experience."
