Perched on a hill overlooking the gorgeous and lively Bass River, this home is perfect for those looking to connect with nature and enjoy the great outdoors. This home comes equipped with a kayak for guests to use - feel free to launch it at the bottom of the driveway and head down the river in either direction. Enjoy the beach as well! Guests are urged to eat, drink, and grill in the backyard.

What's nearby:
Guests can access Follins Pond Beach at the end of the driveway. The nearest beach is on the Bay side of the Cape, Corporation Beach at four-and-a-half miles away. If guests want to go to the south side of the Cape, the nearest beach is West Dennis Beach at six miles from the home. The Cape Cod Mall, known as the center point of the cape, is 10 and a half miles away.

A kayak is available for use by the guests.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Low key lovely little house

We liked the privacy of this small house near the pond (it may not be the best for swimming, but perfect for kayaking and for the views). Outdoor shower, the kayak, clean comfortable bedding, and Vacasa's responsiveness to our questions were high positives. The interior is rather very outdated, but if you expect a cabin - not a luxurious mansion, you won't be disappointed

Disappointing

House was dirty and run down. Price did not match what I paid. Does not put any money back into the maintenance of this rental. Has a bad odor and dirty rugs that could easily be changed out. Fridge is covered with food stuff on the outside. Ad states access to beach where sign are posted “no swimming, no loitering” Ad states coin laundry under onsite amenity and it’s 2 miles away. Lighting is limited and while staying there three light bulbs burnt out. One at the front door, above the sink and in the living room. Mold on ceilings in front porch area. Drawers in kitchen do not close well. Overall, a huge disappointment when I’ve only had great experiences using VRBO in the past. We left early from vacation and my family insisted I share this awful experience so no one else will spend that much money to get what we got.

I would have given more stars for this property, but there were some minor issues that were resolved quickly. The access code to enter the property was inaccurate, and access to the internet was limited. The property itself was very private, and there was plenty of room, but the bathroom was too small with a very small shower stall. It is a small (petite) house, with a petite bathroom. The A/C worked very well which was much needed for humid weather. I would recommend this rental home for your next vacation.

House was great for 4, I think it would be tight with 6. Cool view to drink tea on porch in the morning. Boat launch is at end of driveway which is a hill but great paddle on the pond. We would stay there again

Very cozy place. We love the view of the water from up above. We enjoyed the porch with a nice breeze, especially when it rained. The shower needs to be replaced, the water is dripping behind the wall. Looking forward to returning next year.
