"Hotel needs a lot of work "

"The Gazebo was nothing like the pictures. It smelled like cleaning products mixed with dirt, mold & weed. We were shown a room that was on the pool level. The whole floor was covered with cardboard & duct tape. The room was dirty & the furniture was old & the paint was chipping off the walls. The room on the main level was just as bad. There were tenants that looked like they should be on some kind of watch registry list. The parking lot was destroyed with little available parking. We ultimately found another hotel. We felt it was unsafe & unsanitary. Expedia contacted management to get us a refund since we didn’t stay. According to Expedia no one at Gazebo relied to their request. Expedia told us there is nothing further they could do. So we are out the money. Expedia advertising for this place is an issue. It’s false advertising. I will no longer use Expedia & am disappointed with the whole experience."

"Nice room. Ocean views. Had one side of an adjoining room which was not great considering the people on the other side were incredibly loud after getting in at 11pm and 2 am of their 2 nights there. Woke us up with the screaming and hollering and laughing. Ideally the hotel won't put random people in adjoining rooms if not needed being the doors do not offer any sound insulation. We didn't call in a complaint as often times that just leads to more issues with patrons. Otherwise it was a good stay. "

"Staff was not friendly or inviting and the rooms smelled like mildew. The hallways and the rooms were dirty, the carpets were not vacuumed. "

"The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. The room we had was very dusty, had an odor, most likely due to the carpet, some of the cookware needed to be changed out due to rust, and I didn’t like the fact that guests has to pay for parking. We did enjoy our stay otherwise."

"Everything about our stay was wonderful. Very clean, modern kitchen, comfortable bed, helpful friendly staff, great pool and hot tub. On the beach. Cafe had great food with large potions at a reasonable price. "
