“Good spot for a short stay.”

“We were pleasantly surprised by this historic gem in the small town of Florence, SC. The best part was the in-hotel restaurant called “Victors.” The waiter was so warm and helpful in recommending food and drinks for the whole family. It enhanced our experience greatly!”

“The first room we were given, had sheets that were slept in and simply straightened out. The mattress had huge stains on it. And so did one of the pillows. Completely unacceptable. Extremely friendly staff at the front desk, were horrified at what I found and got me another room right away. That is the only reason this hotel did not get one star. Cleaning staff should be disciplined for this lapse.”

“Clean room, friendly staff, excellent breakfast ; three for three…what more can you ask for..”

“The toilet of our first room was nasty. I showed splashes of doo doo under the seat and in the bowl. The lady on the front desk was awesome. She changed is to another room. Then we found that the sheets between the comforter and the fitted was missing. Not to mention that the body wash bottle was left empty on the sink counter. This falls under housekeeping. Someone needs to do some supervising. It's bad because the place was recently renovated and it actually looks nice.”

“Dirty room, stains, dirt bathroom, not sure if tea, small cupcakes and bread called a breakfast. Never again.”

“Upon arrival I found that the room was attractive, clean, and smelled fresh, no chemical smells or sticky surfaces. I love the colors and simple modern furnishings, comfy bed and fresh, clean bed clothes. I enjoyed being in the room! There was a nice size mini-fridge (with freezer area for ice packs), a new microwave, plenty of hot water…”

“The hotel quality was below what pictures and reviews mentioned; couch in our room had stains, fridge did not work, pool was freezing and closed early then times posted. As soon as you walked in smelled like smoke with mix of what they attempted to clean with the smell with, only benefit was that it is right off 95”

“Clean room, nice staff”

“Everything was fine. Hotel was undergoing renovations and the painters had the windows by the bar taped off, applying paint with a paint gun. I had my mother who needed handicap parking with tag out front away from painting area. When I came back outside they were spraying in front by the door with nothing taped off completely spraying paint on my truck and other vehicles. Front desk was notified and they ask them to stop but said i should move my vehicle but other vehicles were still getting……
