"We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and the property is very well maintained including the pool. The outdoor kitchen is well equipped and it is a beautiful place to have breakfast. They provide fresh water and coffee from the family farm. It is well located between the Marino Ballena National park and the uvita waterfall. It is a quite and beautiful place to stay!"

The property manager was especially accommodating, providing us with everything we needed throughout our stay, including a thoughtful surprise—a delicious birthday cake to help us celebrate my birthday weekend.
I must mention that the accommodations are quite unique; our room had no television, which I found refreshing as it encouraged us to disconnect and enjoy our surroundings. However, it's important to bring your hiking boots, as reaching our room involved some hiking, which added to the sense of adventure.
The views from our room were nothing short of spectacular, overlooking both the ocean and the lush rainforest. This serene and remote retreat was exactly what my wife and I needed—a peaceful escape from our busy lives. The customer service provided by the management team was outstanding, enhancing our overall experience.

"Our stay at the villa was excellent. The villa was very spacious with large, comfortable rooms. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the pool was well-maintained and beautifully lit even at night.
Communication with the hosts was excellent!
One drawback – the villa is located on a slope, which on the one hand offers a stunning view of the sunset and the ocean, but on the other hand can be a bit unsafe for small children.

Both Francisco and Michelle came out to bid us a farewell. Francisco even assisted us in the parking which was somewhat tight spaces. "Staying at the Golden Pineapple villas was the highlight of our trip. Perfect location with walking distance to the waterfall. The drive there is a little steep at times, so just make sure to have a four wheel drive car to get there. The staff were all very friendly, had such great recommendations for getting around and navigating tourist areas of Costa Rica. They were helpful in me trying to practice Spanish and taught us some Spanish phrases used in Costa Rica and taught us about the Costa Rican culture. Very personable staff! Me and my husband were here on our honeymoon and it’s so hard to pick a place in Costa Rica because the options are endless- the Golden Pineapple is a true hidden gem with money very well spent. We had a private pool and bathtub which were both absolutely breathtaking. If you want a quiet, romantic get away and/or love being in nature I Highly highly recommend staying here! When we went to another part of Costa Rica we kept saying we wished we were back at the Golden Pineapple! "
