This home had plenty of room for our adult children and their families. Our party consist of 7 adults, and 3 grandchildren age range from 9 - 18 months and a 12 year old. The pool a little small but we made it work. The AC cooled very well!! Easy access to the beach. Will rent again in the future. The Leyba family! ROSWELL ,NM 🛸🛸👽👽

This is my first beach house experience in S. Padre. We chose this house bc the number of beds and bathrooms it had for our large party of 9. We ended up being only 7 bc some got sick last minute. Overall, nice, somewhat clean- I would prefer the bathroom floors cleaner. Issues: downstairs king size room had no closet. Hard for my mother to hang her close. Her bathroom’s towel rack fell off the wall the moment she place the towel back on. Wonder why? I guess people are hanging clothes on it. Upstair’s bedroom without bathroom has no nightstand light. So you must turn off the light at the door wall and find your way in the dark. However, it’s not pitch black because there is a porch light outside the window shining in- the plastic blinds and sheer curtains do little to stop the light. Ended up using an eye mask. These small annoying things that can be easily fixed- if only they did. They did have small toiletries in each bathroom that I was not expecting and a Hair dry. Pleasant surprise but didn’t use bc we brought our own. Kitchen was well stocked- no issues at all with this.

Beautiful home less than a block from the beach. The house is beautiful and plenty of room. Beds were comfy and the house was stocked with everything we needed. The attention of the staff was nothing short of excellent! They checked in with us often and ensured we were happy with our stay! The neighborhood was quiet, we felt safe! I would definitely rent this home again in the future!

We enjoyed the stay. Close to the beach. Areas of improvement would be you need a fridge downstairs by the back doors, so when you are in the pool you don’t have to go upstairs. Also a trash can outside. There were also lots of ants everywhere outside.

We loved the Turquoise Retreat! We go to SPI every summer and as our family has grown, we’ve had a hard time finding a nice house to accommodate my family (three families) at a good price. This house is great for the beach because it has 5 restrooms and 5 showers! No more fighting for who gets to shower first. Every room has its own bathroom, which is great for privacy for each family. It was very clean, and the decor was so so nice! That’s just an added plus. Every detail of the house was decorated so well. We all loved it. The Pool was a little smaller than we thought from the photos, but it was great for our small children, 4 and 7. We wouldn’t spent more time outside but there were huge mosquitoes this year. We used the washer and dryer, which was great. The kitchen had all the appliances you could need. Overall, I’d highly recommend this space and we plan to be back next year! There were just two cons: a roach in the kitchen after the first night and the couch upstairs is pretty old and sheds the leather, so it’d be good to replace soon. Other than that, it was great!

This is a great house. It was clean, and the back yard was very private. It was a short walk to the beach. We had a small issue when we checked in, and the Vacasa staff was very helpful. We hope to stay in this house again.

The house was clean, close to the beach and was very spacious for our big family. The house is nicely decorated and the kitchen was stocked with all the kitchen gadgets for our cooking needs. The backyard is really nice and having the privacy of our own pool is wonderful but the pool is small, but won’t stop us from renting this house again. The grill needed to be cleaned out before we could use it which is the only negative thing I can say. Overall a wonderful time had by all. We will be back!

Love this house and location. The pool is a nice break from the beach. House is nicely decorated and very close to beach access, also enjoyed that there is no house on either of the lots next to the house. Only down side is I reached out to the local VACASA representative about 2 small issues with zero response to my concerns; pool & yard needed attention and the cleaning of the house prior to our arrival needed a little more detail. Other than that would stay in this house again. Was upset that the property management made zero effort, they could not even return my message.

Overall we had a good time. Pros - location to beach it was large enough for our group to stay Cons - 1. pool - the picture of the pool was most likely doctored. pool is about a third of the size of the photo. most of these issues i see as neglect to the property the pool was about 2/3 full. at first we assumed the water evaporated but filled it up and the next day overnight it was back to 2/3 full. we are assuming the pool has a leak 2. the valve handle on the water hose is about half corroded off. needs to be replaced. 3. the charcoal grill was barely usable. the pan that holds the charcoal was rotted out. grill just needs to be replaced. we actually called the management company and they sent someone out and we were promised a new grill upon return. no one ever came back or contacted us after that conversation 4. about a third of the string lights on the patio were burnt out. 5. grass on the property needed to be cut. 6. sink and bath tub missing drain covers. 7. the knob of the bathroom sink comes off if you are not careful. 8. one of the light bulbs in the upstairs bathroom needed replacing 9. the beds we slept on upstairs slope on either side, if you are in the middle of the bed its ok but i was on the slope had a sensation of sliding off the bed and did not get very good sleep 10. the cable kept losing its signal. that was blamed on spectrum. the only issue i have with this excuse is the tv downstairs never lost service. the cable did come back for a short time but it eventually lost connection and we gave up I bet you are asking why did you not reach-out to the mgt company. We did regarding the grill and cable, but we were promised a grill and never received, so did not bother with the rest. I do not recommend this property.
