Hotel Burbank
10/10 Excellent
"They have an upstairs lounge with a view. We did notKnow about it. someone in our party received a flyer a day after we checked in. Had we known about it sooner we would have visited it more."

San Diego Mission Bay Resort
8/10 Good
"As a resort-style hotel, the surrounding environment is fantastic! It also boasts convenient transportation, with almost everywhere accessible within a 20-minute drive. However, the soundproofing in the guest rooms leaves much to be desired; noise from adjacent rooms is audible. Since my room was near the main entrance, I was frequently woken up by the loud sound of the door opening and closing—despite having specifically requested a quiet room beforehand. I didn't ask to switch rooms because I only discovered the issue after fully unpacking for the night and didn't want the hassle, though I felt it was worth mentioning. Additionally, apart from the front desk staff, the service attitude of the other hotel employees was quite cold. Overall, setting these details aside, the hotel is decent, and the facilities are comprehensive and convenient."

The Sofia Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The staff were by far the best part of my stay. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They provided great restaurant recommendations, assisted with printing documents, and quickly addressed concerns when they arose. I stayed for two nights and was initially assigned a room on the fourth floor. The elevator felt old and dimly lit, and the hallways had a noticeable lingering smoke odor, the kind that seems permanently embedded from years when smoking was permitted. The room itself was quite cramped. One of the first things I noticed was that the TV had no signal. When I called the front desk, they offered to send maintenance. During that conversation, I learned that only rooms on the seventh floor had streaming capabilities, and even then, only Netflix was available. Fortunately, the staff member kindly moved me to a room on the seventh floor. The difference was significant. The seventh floor was brighter, felt better maintained, and provided a much better overall impression of the property. While the second room was still small, it was more comfortable and acceptable for a short stay. Despite the excellent service, the condition of parts of the hotel and the small rooms left me disappointed. I appreciated the efforts of the staff, but I would not choose to stay here again."

"Everything about our stay at the Hilton was great except for $74 parking fee. That was just ridiculous."

Days Inn by Wyndham San Diego Hotel Circle
4/10 Poor
"Stop calling this a hotel. It’s a motel. With terrible parking that costs you 20$ a day extra. I will say the maid staff was great. But this property is the biggest flop I’ve ever booked."
