“Most of the staff was excellent. We asked front desk staff (no concierge) about several things going on (in the downtown area). They had no clue. The hotel is downtown, these were events that occur ever year - such as the Porch Fest and the Wine Festival at the Farmer's Market. No one had a clue - we asked about the shuttle dropping us off there and they looked at each other and would not answer our questions. ??? ”

“Nice room, larger than most. Staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a shuttle that tuns from the Bee Hotel, to The Holbrook and then to the casino, very nice amenity. Room was clean, appliances seem to be almost new. Decorated very nicely. Would highly recommend. If I have a need to visit Danville again (which has a lot more to see than I expected) I'd stay here again.”

“Breakfest was good, excellent host, both nights during the stay the extetior lights were not turned on, felt unsafe. Was very disappointed that the pool was closed, was one of the main reasons for booking this property”

“Had a very unpleasant and dirty looking woman with extreme foul body odor who checked me in late with my 2 kids. I asked for a check out at 12 and she kept saying 11. This was a Monday night and I highly doubt a little interstate hotel off 95 in April is so busy to the point an hour late to check out was an unreasonable request. Give me a break!”

“We had a wonderful experience at this property. A lovely older home with loads of charm. Located in the town’s historic district, it was easy to walk to a local restaurant for dinner. The owner provided clear and easy to understand instructions. It had everything we needed and would happily stay here again.”

“The room was as shown in the photos. Clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The Motel though was decrepit on the outside. No one in reception. they had to make a photocopy of my driver's license to let me in. NO water glass or cup in the room. Expedia totally misled on this booking.”
