「Clean, Quiet, Communication was Excellent. Good Parking Spot in front of Property.Improvements- Wifi and Individual heaters in the rooms. 」

「The room is gorgeous. All what you need are provided. There is a very cute cat who often passes by our room. At night, you can see many stars in the sky. Highly recommended.」

「This house was a great place for our party of 8 with 4 sons ages 15-20. Plenty of room to spread out. The view of the lake and the walking trails were wonderful. Thanks for a fabulous few days.」

「From the moment we drove down the drive, opening the gate to find the most gorgeous French cottage filled with such charm and personal touches we were so comfortable and felt right at home. We enjoyed the outdoor bath and the outdoor fire many times. We loved our cuddles with Billy who visited several times a day. 「My stay at Burn Cottage far exceeded my expectations. The location is so close to Cromwell yet rural, very peaceful and private in the most beautiful surroundings. Gill went above and beyond, it is clear every detail is thought of and the house keeping was just immaculate. I could live here! I travel to Cromwell quite often and this will definitely be my home away from home.」

「Everything about this place was lovely. Clean, tidy and very comfortable bed! Nice to have the outside furniture to sit at too as the weather was great on two days. A couple of things I felt the owner could consider was some kind of light over bathroom mirror as very dark for putting on makeup and a blind over bathroom window. Even though it’s opaque you feel exposed with light on. 😜 these are additions though and would only enhance an already lovely place. Would definitely stay here again」

「We loved this quirky, personality-packed property. It's centrally located, spotlessly clean and has a brand new bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped and I imagine it would be a lovely, cosy house in winter as there is an open fire. Highly recommended!」

「The property was in a great location with fantastic views. The only criticism would be the damp smell. It was noticeable when we first entered and very strong in one of the bedrooms, to the point where the couple using that room had to shift to the spare room down in the garage.」

「We had a lovely 4 night stay in April 2025! The property was a short few paces to the lake w/a beautiful view from inside the home. It was a very quiet time of year with little foot traffic on the pathway next to the house. We gave 5 Stars because of the location, peaceful area, and all the little extras the owner supplied us travelers....the wine, coffee, tea, soaps, extra pillows & blankets for the very comfortable beds! 「Beautiful, magnificent views of the landscape, quiet, peaceful, fresh air, safe and secure. I didn't like the dining chairs. Unsafe to sit on as they are on an incline. My daughter-in-law fell backwards while sitting on the chair while her son was sitting on her lap. She nearly hit her head against the wooden bench. No freezer available and no exhaust fan above the cooking stove. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crow's Nest holiday home. Thank you.」

「This was a great spot for our time in Te Anau. We used it as home base to explore the region (hiking, Milford Sound, etc.). Location is hard to beat - very close to the lakeshore, business district, city park, Fiordland DOC Visitor Center and multiple very good restaurants (Ditto, Redcliff, Miles Better Pies). We cooked meals multiple times and the kitchen and pantry were well stocked. Beds were comfortable but not posh. If you are looking for a luxury location, this isn't it. It was...

「We really enjoyed staying so close to the lake and just a short walk from town. The house was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the wood stove in the living room made everything so cozy. The kitchen was well appointed. It was just a nice little cottage in a very pretty and convenient area.」
