"Grafton Cottage was so fantastic we changed our stay from 1 night to 3 nights after the first night. Albie (owner) is very personable and accommodating - just basically lovely. The chalet we had our first night was a cute bedsit and had a good view out over the bay. Full cooking facilities, lots of hot water and a spa & pool right by the door. After the first night we loved it so much we asked Albie if we could stay another 2 nights and he had a 2 story chalet free for us which he only...

"Excellent location to do day rides on the hauraki rail trail. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. House was cosy, clean and comfy. Kids loved the treehouse and spa too."

"Our only complaint with this property were the beds. They were very soft and worn. We were a group of two couples travelling. All 4 of us had bad sleeps on the two beds and complained of sore backs. Good beds are so important. The rest of the cottage was locked lovely. "

"Quaint little cottage, so close to everything. Transport is fantastic. Would have stayed longer here, you have everything you need and more. Very comfortable and the host Sue is very resposive and so lovely. Would recommend this place to anyone. Beach is just down road, airpot is 9kms away and no going through city to get to it. "Loved the property even though it looked very different to the original pictures look quite different to the ones shown when we booked the trip. Loved the SPA and the property was very clean and tidy and the main bed was great. Only negative was that we are used to cooking with Gas so the slowness of the electric oven and cook top was a little frustrating at first. Would definitely stay there again"
