"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "It was a very nice setting outside but inside could have a better layout, felt like a business lounge in the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful but did have a few issues with orders which resulting in myself eating separately despite the meal costing around £300. Unfortunately too many children around for us having a night off from children! Lots of rooms downstairs so perhaps some adult only areas? Lots of children in the Spa which made the experience quite unrelaxing. Very overpriced for the experience in my opinion. Sadly wouldn’t return. Although food was delicious and bed very comfy!"
