Nice, new, comfortable, modern home, nicely decorated, with stunning view of the lake, and gorgeous sunsets. There is another house next door, otherwise, you feel very much like you are tucked away by yourself, and the overall feeling is peaceful and serene. Beds were comfortable, home is open, bright and airy. There was a very friendly and very adorable well-fed neighborhood female black dog who came by to visit us daily, and we looked forward to her visit.There was an annoying gnat problem in July that made spending any time outside rather problematic, so we were not able to use the hot tub, sot on the deck or utilize the firepit at night. If you are foodies like we are and you plan on doing a lot of cooking, plan on bringing extra serving dishes, a large skillet, cookie sheets, and extra dish towels and dishcloths. Kitchen was adequately appointed, but we did have to do a bit of improvising. If you use a lot of ice, I would suggest bringing a bag with you.Our group of 9 were constantly making more ice with the countertop ice maker that was provided. Overall, a wonderful stay!
