Beautiful house and views

Beautiful home in a quiet area. The patio offers amazing views as well. We did not get to use the pool, it had turned a little cooler and the water was chilly, at least to me. Very well stocked. The kitchen had all the appliances and anything you need for serving/cooking. Spacious house and the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was perfect for our stay. Loved the master bedroom sleep number bed! You won’t go wrong staying here

Weekend Getaway

Spent the weekend with our son and grandchildren. Lots of room for everyone and great kitchen for cooking quick meals. They made two hikes to the river and survived! The sunsets were fabulous! Took lots of pictures of flowers egrets and clouds! Thank you for sharing your home with others. Can tell there is a lot of love surrounding this home!

Siblings retreat in Spicewood

Absolutely loved our stay so our siblings could gather and spend time together. The location is perfect, the home has everything you need for a getaway including a large table for playing games as a family. Comfortably beds, plenty of room and a fully stocked kitchen.

Spectacular home with amazing views. Home had minor cleaning issues (cobwebs) and the dishwasher was smelly. Checkout was super easy. Very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.

We were fortunate to be in this lovely home during record rainfall

Very nice neighborhood and the house and pool were quite nice. We were here for a family vacation. I hate to criticize but I do feel there were some aspects that did not meet the nightly rate charged. Firstly our primary split king bed was a sagging body swallowing beast. My half felt about two inches lower than my wife’s. Also our daughter and son in-law complained about their bed as well. A few other minor kitchen items; limited sauce pans (2 1/2 or 3 qt not there) only a large pasta pan. No salt or pepper, we had to buy all spices we planned on using for the week. Toilet paper was like sand paper and we know bad T.P. from boating and RV’ing. Lastly the pool deck needs some love, it was very rough. With that said this would be a stellar property with just a few improvements. But I honestly don’t think I could recommend based on the beds alone.

It was great

This was a beautiful home and we really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and it really had everything we needed. However, it had a few things we did not need. One was that yellow jackets or wasps were getting in the house. we don't know how, but they were. The other was the master bedroom was hotter than very other room in the house. This is probably due to the master having all glass on one side of the room at the other side was the external wall. They did have a ceiling fan in the master and their was another fan that really did not cool it down, but it was not unbearable with the temp outside not getting above 85 for the time of our stay. If it was not for the Yellowjackets/wasps and the heat in the bedroom, this place would have gotten five stars.

The Little Things (Or Lack Of) Make a Difference

Our group was excited as we approached the house, and we couldn’t wait to get in. The house looked just like the listing as we entered, but we were surprised by the uncomfortable temperature. The thermostat was in the high 70s, and it took hours to get to a comfortable temperature. The same thing happened the second night when we returned from being out. Some other aspects of the house that surprised and disappointed us... * The pool light didn't work, so it was dangerous to use the pool after sunset * On our final day, we got an email saying we could get a late checkout for a fee. I tried it minutes after 4 pm and was told by Vacasa that it had to be requested before 4 pm (this wasn't in the email) * The master has windows that bring in direct sunlight at sunrise each morning - they prevented us from sleeping after sunrise and made the room hot * The master king bed was split in half; one half was higher, and it was uncomfortable * Many kitchen/cooking basics were absent, such as pepper, olive oil, coffee, and napkins. * The toilet paper was prison-grade * The towel rack in the master collapsed to the floor when we put a towel on it * Lots of dead bugs around the house, especially in the dining room. * There was a DirectTv remote in the living room, and we spent an hour trying to get the TV to work. Finally, we contacted Vacasa to find out the house doesn't have DirectTV! The remotes for the smart TV were hidden in a fake book
