「Friendly staff and welcoming however only downside was the noise from the corridor when other guests were shutting doors and walking up and down. Doors slammed and awoke me in a panic a few times as well hearing people outside very clearly. Maybe the door seals need looking at?」

Swimming pool advertised as open at 7am but wasn’t opening until 8am.
Due to power failure no cooked breakfast, but that wouldn’t have been a problem personally if the continental breakfast was adequate, very basic & disappointing.
I would not stay there again.」
"Very nice and well appointed hotel. Conveniently located in between the old town and train station. We stayed at York one night for transfer. It would be better to stay 2 nights to enjoy the hotel as well."
