The lodge was clean and comfortable and location great. The sack lunch style complimentary breakfast was weak. Pre wrapped muffin, bagel with cream cheese, and a small yogurt. Bagel was not fresh. No yogurt in my bag. I ask the front desk where the ice machine was. She told me the location where I discovered a note saying a new one had been ordered and gave the locations of where one could purchase ice. That was outrageous to me.

Let me start with a word of caution this is not the Zion National Park Lodge located within the park. This lodge is located in Springdale just outside the park. That said the lodge is clean well kept and a short walk to the free shuttle into the park. There are many restaurants and food choices as well as shopping within walking distance. I thought I was booking with Zion National Park Lodge but was pleased in the end.

This is a pretty average hotel. There was only one small trash can for both the room and bathroom, and the towels and toiletries were quite limited. We also found a few cockroaches in the morning near the bathroom, which was concerning. Check-in at the front desk took a long time as well. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, and the to-go breakfast bags were a nice touch.

We got a really warm welcome when we first arrived. The woman who checked us in gave us our grab and go breakfast the night before so we could head to Zion earlier in the day which was super helpful for our trip.

Hotel location was great- across the street from a grocery store, Zion Guru (bib/e-bike rentals), and short walks to a variety of restaurants. There was a laundry room with paid machines we could use. Staff was always cheery, helpful, and informative. The ice machine was broken the entire time we were there which was very annoying. There seemed to be absolutely no urgency in getting it fixed

I think overall it could be a great place, but it is seriously understaffed. There was always only one person at the front desk, and he or she is also managing the maintenance as well. Our room was always clean and spacious. The cleaning lady did her job fine. But when we checked in, the spare blanket and sheets for the sofa bed ware dirty. I had to go to the front desk to get clean ones. Also we did not have a toaster or kitchen towel for the kitchen, so we went to the front desk again. The reason we had to go the front desk, is that the phone at the front desk was not working, ie, it cannot take any calls. The receptionist at the frond desk tried very thing to help, but lacking of staff is really the problem. Did I mention that the shampoo holder in the shower just came off and never went back on there? They probably just did not have the right people to fix it. Anyway, all the problems above did not really bother us. But the property could be managed better.

Absolutely gorgeous lodge with beautiful view and very close to entrance of zion national park, we didn't even wait for the shuttle for the park, though it was 2 mins walking from the lodge . So many places to shop and dine near by. Super clean room, comfortable bed, breakfast grab and go was superb idea, would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Zion.

The breakfast was over sold at check-in and online. It was literally a bagel in a plastic bag, even though at check in we were told there would be hot sandwiches where you have to pick-up in the lobby. It doesn't open until 7:30, including coffee not available until then. Arriving at the park earlier is better and 7:30 is too late. They have a dedicated room that appears to be a place that could have a better breakfast that isn't being utilized. In additon, the ice machine was broken and not fixed even though I asked about it. The room was clean and for the most part it was very quiet, and the views were amazing.
