“Love the place.”

“Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. The food is excellent and they serve well kept beers at a reasonable price. I would definately reccomend this place and we will stay again. 👍🇬🇧 ”

“This property and its host are simply outstanding. Located in the North Yorkshire countryside, the property is a converted barn, adjacent to the main farmhouse. While retaining the charm of the old structure, it has thoroughly modern kitchen and bathrooms. The is an en-suite bedroom on the ground floor as well as an en-suite bedroom upstairs. The upstairs bedroom and bath open to a small sitting area that overlooks the living space below. The main living area has a large television mounted……

“It was a lovely stay in a lovely location. A car is essential when staying here. I have one criticism. Whoever stayed previously obviously brought a dog that smelled. The odour was strong and pungent in the lounge and despite us ventilating the room it was still present when we left. Apart from that the cottage was fabulous. Thank you too for the welcome pack.”

“Clean, organised flat in a lovely area. The hosts communication was great throughout, and there was a great guest book containing recommendations for the local area.”

“The privacy and cleanliness of the pods, second time returning and I will be coming back for a third.”

“Place is very close to the train station and right inside one of the gates of the York city walls. My only complaint is that we booked the hotel choosing the “pay at hotel” option as we are travelling as a group of friends but one person was doing all the booking, but they charged us on the reservation credit card before we arrived, rendering that option completely meaningless to us.”

“Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The property is advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality it has……

“Big, clean room that was everything I needed for three nights in York. Was able to store my luggage after check-out. Smooth stay :)”

“The apartment was excellent, well appointed and in a good convenient central location. What let it down was the parking. This was 20mins walk away, but this was not made clear until after we had booked. Also the check in procedure for the parking was difficult. It took us an hour to get this done. To be fair once we gave up trying and rang the owner he sorted it out immediately.”

“三間房間適合多個朋友一起住，屋內整潔，設備也頗齊全，浴室也很不錯。與屋主求助時，很快得到回應，態度有禮。”
