“Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Petit hôtel soigné, chaleureux, très bon petit déjeuner, chambre impeccable, lits confortables. Manque juste une piscine... et une réparation du plafond du bain, endommagé par l'humidité, mais pas (encore) de moisissures. Expérience à refaire, merci!”

“The service at Algonquin is as good as it gets…excellent. The room with a king was small compared with for example the Delta in St John. The restaurant was “satisfactory” but somewhat disappointing given this higher end venue. We expected something like what was comparable to the experience a few nights ago at the Rossmount Inn restaurant. The wine list at Algonquin is relatively limited and disappointing to our party of 4. The hotel could use the advice of at least a part time sommelier.……

“We needed an accommodation relatively close to Blacks Harbor in order for us to travel to Grand Manan to visit family and TRUTH BE TOLD - this was the only accommodation available for our family of 5. We had a chaotic trip. We flew in from Alberta, one of our kids (we learned) is very susceptible to motion sickness... (its our first BIG family trip) there were challenges with our rental car. It was a tough travel day all around however!!! I am SO pleased that this was our first night……

“We only stayed the 1 night, but we were very comfortable. Clean room with everything you’d need, except a coffee machine. ( Tim Hortons right across the street). This motel was just a little far to WALK to down town and the water front. There seemed to be plenty of parking all over. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.”

“Our recent two night stay at the Kingsbrae Arms Inn was exceptional. Room was great with an absolutely stunning view. Staff were outstanding. When we arrived, the host that checked us in was extremely outgoing and friendly. Once she explained everything and left, I called to ask if they had a corkscrew for our wine as we forgot to bring one. She returned to the premises from her way home and brought it to the room. Amazing customer service. The breakfast(s), definitely surpassed expectations and……

“The Kennedy House was built in 1885 so although plumbing, electrical and furnishings have been upgraded it is a rustic establishment with great character, a good casual restaurant and a popular lively bar. They have parking (a rarity in the area), an elevator and friendly staff. We were given an upgrade upon arrival and after departure my wife realized she had left her valuable earrings in our room. When we phoned the hotel they confirmed that they had the earrings and would mail them to us!……

But loved this hotel best so far the lay out over ocean. And room was amazing no breakfast but small price big balcony with patio furniture BBQ and all pots, pans, forks knifes, full size fridge and stove,microwave ect look forward to coming back .”

“The motel is pet friendly, but the restaurant is not. Not even on the patio. The window screens in the room have wholes or totally off. The front door has a huge gap. I didn’t even get checked it properly. One guys asked the owner who was fixing something what room I’m in and gave the key. When I brought the key back I had to pay (forgot that they didn’t take my payment in advance like others did) so I had to pay extra for the dog. Owner was not nice.
