After reading several positive reviews about this property, we were excited to stay here. Overall, the house is nice. Feels like newer construction. TVs in every room and a private pool out back. The bad news is that the house was infested with bugs. Ants, fleas, gnats, you name it….it was there. Contacted the property rep who said they would reach out to an exterminator. Never heard back. We all have bug bites all over and we had to throw away a lot of food that got covered in ants. There’s no pantry to keep food in. The ants are obviously a known problem as there were already ant baits out on the counter when we got there. But fleas and other bugs too? In the beds and on the living room seats? Understand this is a pet friendly house, but obviously someone had a dirty animal. Although the cleaning company did okay, there was still a bunch of dog hair on the floor. Also, two days after the pool was “cleaned” which included a VERY heavy dose of chemicals and chlorine so strong we could barely swim in it, a landscaper came and cut grass. Blew tons of lawn clipping in the pool and all over the pool deck. Because the pool is cleaned on Mondays, it remained filthy the rest of the time we were there. I don’t fault the property owner for any of this. This is typical of big vacation companies like Vacasa. Mediocre property management at best and poor response when there’s an issue. Lastly, you get one tiny outdoor trash can for the entire week. Needless to say, it was overflowing by mid week, and on checkout day, we got to clean up trash that had been torn through by raccoons. Who can blame them? We had no choice but to leave trash on the ground. This place has a lot of potential, but needs a more attentive property manager or the owner needs to be more aware of the issues that are being ignored by the property manager.
