Waterfront home with dock, heated pool, & spectacular views- walk/bike downtown!

Our 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is located on Salt Run. We have a large back patio with outdoor dining and sitting area, 4 lounge chairs with umbrellas, firepit area, putting green with corn hole boards, outdoor ping pong table, a private heated pool, 3 kayaks, and a dock with floating dock for boat access. Fish, swim, kayak or paddleboard right off the dock or use one of our three kayaks to paddle across to Anastasia State Park and walk over to the ocean for an adventure. You can rent a boat (or bring your own) and tie it up at our dock during your stay. After a day of boating, touring the city, or visiting the beach, come back and take a dip in the pool. You can walk to a number of nearby restaurants and bars or even walk/bike to downtown St. Augustine to see the Fort and shop. We are a little less than a mile from the Bridge of Lions. Bring your bike (or use one of our 4) and explore Lighthouse Park and walk up to the top of the lighthouse for beautiful vistas. You are also biking distance to the Amphitheater for great concerts or check out the local Farmers Market there on Saturdays. Bring your camera and take pictures right off the back deck of numerous birds, dolphins, sea turtles and manatees. Collect oysters from across the Inlet or put our crab trap out and cook up some blue crab or your fresh catch for dinner in our fully equipped kitchen. Wake up and enjoy the splendor of the beautiful sunrises while having your morning coffee on the back deck. We welcome you to enjoy our little piece of paradise!
There is a smaller separate rental on the property but it does not share any amenities/spaces. The patio, pool, & dock are solely for main house guests.

We had a wonderful stay with a group that included our young adult children. It was a great space for all of us to spread out or be together for meals, games and conversation. It was an easy drive to see the town and especially the magical Nights of Lights, as well as the beautiful state park and beach nearby.We enjoyed watching the sunrise over the water in the morning and seeing the variety of birds each day.I have let the host know of some concerns we had...first floor shower was not hot enough even after turning up the hot water heaters, upstairs showers didn't drain properly...and a more thorough cleaning of the kitchen (drawers, pans etc...) and living room would be very helpful.

The home was in a great location and the views and outdoor spaces were wonderful. We did have some issues with the AC which were not the owner’s fault and they were very responsive but still made our stay less than perfect. But again, the owner was very helpful and responsive.

This was a great property for our family to spend a week together. The outside area was great. We enjoyed the pool and fishing off the dock. We were 3 families and the inside gave each family their own space. Convenient location to downtown St. Augustine and beaches.

We had a wonderful stay and will be back! We enjoyed the pool, the putting and the canoes, as well as the comfortable and beautiful home. We walked to the old city for dinner and had a fabulous time! Host was very nice and responsive, too!

Family time

Great place to spend time with family. The location was excellent. We enjoyed kayaking, ping pong and golf. The beds were comfortable. It was too cold to swim but we enjoyed the fire pit. The fireworks on the beach were amazing! We had beautiful views of the sunrise over the water. We hope to go back in the future.

Perfect place for three generations to vacation

This home had the perfect amount of space for all 7 of us. The rooms are large and one was in an area perfect for my daughter's remote employment each weekday morning. Good WiFi. Beautiful location with lots of amenities

Amazing location on the water with a dock and beautiful sunrises! The layout of the house was perfect for my family and extended family; we each had our own areas of the home as well as spacious living/dining areas for us all to congregate in. The deck was setup with plenty of chairs to enjoy the outside space, and the kids enjoyed use of the pool, putting green and fishing off the dock. The property had everything necessary for our vacation enjoyment! We loved walking to the Lighthouse and it was only a short drive into downtown St. Augustine. We hope to go back again!

House has some ‘missed opportunities’ that we discussed directly with the owner, hopefully the next guests are all good. Dock was great to have-saw dolphins and sea turtles daily. Easy drive into town that’s full of wonderful history! Great city!

Fantastic location with everything you need

Had a great stay here to celebrate parents 50th anniversary. Our group of 9 really enjoyed the area. Close to shops, beaches, and restaurants while still feeling secluded at the home. Lots to do and see. Pet friendly and extras included like bicycles, kayaks, beach chairs, etc. Janet (host) was very responsive to any questions and supplied us with all the necessary info. A slice of heaven

This property exceeded our expectations. The house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 kids. The layout offered everyone comfort and privacy. The location is wonderful—1 mile to downtown and the beaches were just minutes away by car. St. Augustine is a gem of a city. Lots of history and wonderful restaurants. We will be back again.

Spectacular home with great amenities

Not only was the home spacious with plenty of seating and sleeping accommodations...but the outdoor area was just as inviting with pool, fire pit, dock, outdoor dining and casual seating area. Our family made lasting memories. We named the sea turtles that hung out by the dock, kayaked several times to the nearby Anastasia Island, and rode bikes to downtown St. Augustine several times. I recommend this spectacular home!

Awesome family trip to St. Augustine

We stayed at this property with our grown children and grandchildren- 8 adults and 2 small children. The house is perfect! So much space for large groups. Janet went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The location was great! We walked to downtown St Augustine and to the beach at the State Park. We also saw dolphins and sea turtles from the dock. We hope to return!!

Family Holiday

My family of six stayed at this beautiful home over the Thanksgiving holiday. The home is beautiful - exactly as pictured! Plenty to enjoy at the house. We fished, played ping-pong, bags, enjoyed the pool and having meals outside on the patio - even saw dolphins!! The location is great! Traffic to the downtown can be busy but the home is close enough to walk which is a game changer. Highly recommend!!

Historic Florida at its Best!

Our family of 8 had a wonderful stay at your comfortable, spacious home overlooking the inlet. It was quiet and peaceful waking to the stunning sunrise each morning and plentiful stars at night. We loved the view of the Lighthouse from the deck, the close proximity to the culture and historic downtown and Anastasia State Park beach. We also enjoyed the many delightful amenities of the house: pool, kayaks, bicycles, putting green, grill and spacious seating indoor and out. We came from as far away as California, St. Louis and Ft. Myers and our adult children and grandchildren all loved it. It is tastefully decorated and provided a great kitchen to make meals. A wonderful vacation getaway!
