THIS PROPERTY IS A 2 BEDROOM 1 BATHROOM QUADRIPLEX WITH PRIVATE IN GROUND SWIMMING POOL. ENJOY YOUR OWN PRIVATE COTTAGE WITH FAMILY AND OR FRIENDS. IT PROVIDES SOME OF THE BEST VALUE ON THE ISLAND AS IT IS LOCATED DIRECTLY ACROSS FROM THE BEACH ACCESS ON 8TH STREET. YOU CAN SWIM IN THE GULF AND ENJOY THE PRISTINE FINE SAND OF ST GEORGE ISLAND OR SWIM IN THE POOL, IT HAS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. THE COTTAGES ARE ABOUT A 15 MINUTE WALK TO THE CENTER OF THE ISLAND WHERE YOU CAN ENJOY RESTAURANTS, BARS, SHOPPING, AND WHATEVER ELSE YOU CAN FIND. Emil was great to work with as was Laura, the property manager. All our questions whether email or phone were answered promply. The bungalow was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The beach access is really just a few steps from the bungalows. We loved our stay and will be back next year.

Beach Bungalow

We enjoyed our stay hear. Unfortunately the weather was not very good for our stay but we can't blame anyone but mother nature. The couch could use an upgrade as it wasn't very comfortable. If the weather had been nicer we wouldn't have used it as much. We thought the place was right on the beach. It's only across the street but I thought it was right on. Overall it was a nice place.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the BeachBum property on St. George Island. Condo was very clean. No stairs to climb. Had all the amenities we needed. Very close to beach dune walk over.

Units were as advertised as far as size and location. Ours was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and pool area was clean. The owner and onsite manager were very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. It was quiet too. I would definitely rent again.

Sweet cottage

We enjoyed our visit. The pool was just steps away. The beach was a quick walk across the road ( which was not busy) to the walkover which was easy to walk on as there are no stairs. The cottage was small but met our needs. There was a nice starter supply of paper goods, toiletries and dish detergent .Amole supply of bath towels. It was clean.We hope to it rent again.

Great little gem

Perfect spot for a ladies quick get-away. 8 blocks to the "main street', quick walk to the beautiful beach, lovely pool to cool off. Easy check in with property manager. Not the Ritz but comfortable and meets all needs.

My husband and I used to come to the island every year. He died 5 years ago and this was my first trip back and my sister came with me (this was her first trip there). It was good to come back to the island and see that not too much has changed. I love the peace and the people there and will be back. As for the condo, the location is great!!! The furniture was uncomfortable and a little unclean. I gave the overall rating a 4 and will recommend the condo to others.

Great location and price!

This place is such a short walk to the beach! I loved being able to go back and forth from the beach to the house multiple times per day without much thought. The house wasn't fancy but had everything we needed. We rented a golf cart, bike, beach umbrella, and beach chairs and all were waiting for us when we arrived. We did not use the pool but it was clean and looked very inviting. Check in and check out was very easy. We will be back!
