Awesome vacation!!!

Most definitely will stay again at the property. Weather wasnt the most pleasant but we were able to take our boat out to sea and fish. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

Family beach trip

The house was very spacious, so everyone was comfortable which was great for our huge family and was also very close to the beach. Very peaceful as well. We Would definitely lodge here again in the future.

Highly recommend! Great area. Very close to all restaurants and shops. Definitely consider renting golf carts, it makes the experience that much better.

Wonderful Vacation!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and spacious house! Everything was perfect. The two large screened in porches are fantastic. The surrounding trees provide a lot of privacy and character. We could not have asked for a better stay.

Long Weekend Family Getaway

Our family enjoyed this property. We ranged in ages from 88-6. The elevator was extremely helpful with the check-in and check-out process. Everything was just as listed on the VRBO website. Communication with the owner was great!

Very clean with plenty of room!! Hot tub did not work as advertised, contacted owner, no response but I’ll check on it. Did not fix issue during the stay! Overall good house, clean and in a good location.

Superior retreat

Business retreat and fishing trip. House was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for our group of fishermen. Everyone had their own bedroom and is convenient to center of island. Will gladly book again.

St George Island get together

Four couples enjoyed this spacious house on the island. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. Some issues with the hot water were addressed promptly. As with many rentals, this house could use some updating, but our stay was very enjoyable.

Weekend fun

My family and a few friends stayed at this beautiful home for a little weekend getaway (we live 2 hours away) from the crowded beaches we live in. Perfect location! A little bit of a walk to the beach but definitely doable. The house was kept nice and cool, even had to break out an extra blanket, which there was plenty of, in the middle of August. Just a few minute drive from shops and local grocery. We had a wonderful time!

Great house in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Spacious Oasis in St George Island. The house is in a great location, just a short walk to the beach, lighthouse's and restaurants. The house is spacious and was very comfortable for our large group. The host was very accessible and accommodating to all of our needs. Be prepared to disconnect a bit as the WiFi is not reliable here. This house has great potential… just needs a better cleaning service prior to check-in. I would definitely recommend Spacious Oasis for any large group looking to stay in St George Island and I would stay here again.

Great place for a large group

This was a perfect place for our family. It's a terrific space for a large family or friend gathering. Elevator is a huge bonus for getting stuff upstairs and making it possible for elderly / less mobile family members. Multiple comfy King beds makes sleeping adult couples much less of a challenge. Kitchen is well equipped, and pantry is huge! Extra 'fridge is a godsend when feeding a crowd. Walk to the beach is a breeze. Screened porch is really lovely, especially in the evening. Owner is accommodating and communicates well. Highly recommended.

Spacious House for Large Group

Great house and location! Plenty of bedrooms, beds, and lounging areas inside and on the screened-in porches. Large kitchen with all necessities. Elevator was a welcome blessing! We did have a couple of issues while there. The cleaning crew didn’t do a thorough job before our arrival, but host Daniel was very responsive and apologetic about it. That’s why I only give 3 stars for cleanliness. Don’t let that stop you from renting. He addressed it swiftly! Very comfortable property.

Things to pay attention for

Property highlights an elevator. The problem, it wasn’t working. Further we were not notified prior to arrival of this issue. Air filters for air conditioner have not been changed in quite some time. Several air vents have dirt and dust hanging on the vent fins. Further, the air in take is covered with with dust as is the air filter. I would have assumed this is something the cleaning crew would check regularly. Hot water was hard to come by. The water heater looks sized for an apartment not a five bedroom bath house. Favorable items; decorations are nice and location is good.

We recently stayed at this property on St. George Island. The house was comfortable — a bit older but well-kept — and check-in and check-out were smooth. The location is fantastic, just a short 5-minute walk to the beach, with plenty of fun things to do nearby.However, I did face some challenges with communication. My messages to the owner weren’t responded to despite a few follow-ups, which was a bit disappointing since I had read many positive reviews about their responsiveness. It might have just been an unusual situation, but the “If you see it, say it” concept didn’t seem to work in our case.Overall, it’s a nice property in a great location, but I hope communication improves for future guests.
