“I have good things to say about the motel itself. My one negative is not about Best Western itself, but just an FYI...check before you go. We were there June of 2026 and there are a lot of roads torn up all around the motel due to redoing pipes. The water was shut off about 10 or 10:30 at night, not sure for how long. It was back on in the morning. However the motel itself is in a great location on Bay Street. It is nothing fancy, but if you are on a budget it is clean, rooms have microwaves and……

“We had a delightful stay. The Inn is within easy walking distance from restaurants and a lovely town park, and it has lovely views of the inlet. The building itself is gorgeous and our room was delightfully furnished, decorated, and appointed. The staff were kind and attentive. Excellent experience!”

“We loved Beaufort Inn. When we arrived staff at the front desk welcomed us and took us on a tour of the facility. She was so very welcoming and helpful. We loved being able to walk to the downtown shops and restaurants from our room. We simply loved it! If we go to Beaufort, SC again, we will not stay anywhere else but at the Beaufort Inn. It was wonderful!”

“We were told that rooms would be close to each other~ did not happen. No assistance offered to accommodate our request. Property is lacking maintenance.”

“This is a beautiful location for a hotel! The scenery was awesome and the grounds were perfect for walking my dog. There was lots of shade and Spanish moss in the oak trees, with a perfect view of the marsh and tidal creek. Staff were super helpful and made us welcome with our pet!!”

“this place is terrible. i was expecting a not so great hotel being as it was older and whatnot and was fine with it for one night. the room was awful. peeling ceiling, holes in doors, broken door handle, stained carpet, holes in the comforter, spills in the mini fridge, food splatters in microwave, chipped up stained toilet seat, strange smell, bad A/C, stained sheets, stained shower curtain, etc. just totally unpleasant. i had to leave after a couple of hours because i couldn’t take it. with no……

“The room was clean and parking was really good”

“The property and staff were nice. Only complaint was that the room was not available at 4:00 check-in so we had to wait for it to be cleaned.”
