If you don’t have a car it’s less than 3/4 mile to the bus station. If you willing to walk that and take the bus from the airport it would save you 21 pound each way. Taxi cost 24.50 to hotel from airport, bus 2.75 airport to the bus station. You can’t seem to get taxi company to pick you up at the hotel, at the station you can’t get them to pick you up to go to the hotel. On line or on the phone they don’t seem interested

This place was head and shoulders above the Premier Inns in the UK. I use the chain for work fairly frequently and for pleasure occasionally so I have a good idea what to expect, most are OK, a few are better and a few are poor. This one in St Helier however was exceptional. The price was very reasonable. It was very clean and airy, the young staff were exceptionally helpful and very nice. The breakfast was well cooked. Shower heat was easy to control. It was everything we wanted for a long weekend.The only slight negative from my point of view was the bath, it was a bit shallow for my tastes as I like a good wallow.

Staff very helpful at arrival. The room and facilities as expected. But my opinion is heavily influenced by my experience the last morning. As I returned to my room about 8:30 am, after breakfast, my key card no longer worked. I went down again to the reception. Could not find anyone. Went back up again and luckily managed to find one of the housekeepers, who remembered me and let me in. She confirmed my key card no longer worked. It was about 8:30 and a long time before check out time. It also meant I could no longer switch on the light in my room. Luckily, I had already packed, but I had to feel my way around the bathroom in the dark to get my last things. At the reception again, no staff. Just a box for the key cards. I assume there was some kind if mistake with my card, but I left with a rather dissatisfied opinion.

I wasn’t super impressed with this hotel. The first room I was given had a horrible chemical smell coming from the bathroom. I turned on the fan full throttle, but it didn’t clear if even after running all night. I let the front desk person know in the morning before I left for the day. When I returned, they moved me to a different room because they hadn’t been able to get the engineer to come to their location despite having 8 hours to do so. The sink drain holes in both rooms were blocked so water filled up to the overflow in the sink while I was washing my face or hands. I signed up to have breakfast included in my room fee - it was cheap, but you get what you pay for. Food was meh and they didn’t have allergens clearly marked - you had to go ask for the binder that was behind the front desk.
