When I walked into room overwhelming bug spray smell.Then got locked in a closet sized bathroom.Anyone large couldn't fit in this bathroom.Realized there a nail for a lever to let you out.Was paranoid all night. The beds were full size not queens. Stay away unless you want to stay away watching shadows walk by or what was going to crawl on me.Thought I would stop get some much needed rest.Not at all should have drove through.

Room was in need of upgrade. We were there 5 nights. Only once did housekeeping attend to our room. It appeared that several rooms were long term rentals.

Clean, older property. Excellent view of the lake. When we stayed there the temperature wasn't very warm which was a good thing because our AC unit was not very good. If you just need a place to lay your head while you're doing other stuff, it would suffice

The property could use some updating in the rooms. The bathroom was extremely small with a very old shower stall. Could have been a little cleaner. Hardly enough room to turn around in bathroom. The beds were nice. The view from the room was beautiful. There was an old upholstered chair in the room that looked quite dirty. Very accommodating for a last minute reservation.

Smelly- air fresheners so strong trying to hide the must and mold smell. We left and asked for money back. Ty to front desk for assistance. They also agreed the room was terrible.

The motel offers a cabin vibe with wood paneled walls and ceiling. Firstly, everything was very clean. The bathroom was tiny. The sink and toilet looked new, but the shower was an older small unit with a low shower head: plenty of pressure and hot water. The beds were too soft by my standards, but the sheets and pillows were comfy. We used the fridge, but not the microwave, coffee maker nor the decent sized TV. The room didn't have a hairdryer but the young man at the desk provided one when asked. The rooms are not particularly noise proof, but the AC running provided enough white noise to drown out traffic noise. The parking lot has a bay view, but the rooms do not as the buildings are perpendicular to the water. Not a big deal for us.

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful for our late night arrival. The room...well...the beach front view and access was amazing but the room needs some help. If you can get "nose blind" quickly, the musty smell isn't too bad. No counter space in the tiny bathroom and not really much table space in the room. And walls are really thin. Just need a budget place to lay your head on your way through...this place does just fine.

We moved rooms 3 times. The 1st one was so musty smelling we couldn't even handle being in the room for more than 5 minutes. In our 2nd room it was still musty and the TV didn't work.

I spilled some water in the floor right when we first got there. Wiped it with paper towels and they were black when done. Gross. If you get stuck in unit 10 I hope light doesn't bother you. At night it lights up like the Russian tea room. They switched from black out drapes to blinds.
