Wonderful stay

Stayed at Little Coombe for week first week of June, fantastic location to the beach, bit of a steep climb back to property, the house was great had everything you need. Only thing I could fault it with is that the garden wasn’t enclosed

A home from home

A perfect base for us to explore the local area. Beautifully clean and well maintained throughout. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped with a lovely relaxing outdoor space (complete with sneaky views of the sea). We made the most of the body boards in the shed - very useful! Perfectly located for 5ish minute walk to Carbis Bay beach and a walk or train to St Ives. Steep hills but the pain is over very quickly! I would highly recommend Little Coombe.

Just incredible!

Absolutely loved this property...............................the cleanest holiday home ever. Great comms with Paul and Bryan. Property had everything we needed and was well located.

Excellent stay

We stayed at the property due to a family wedding nearby and it did not disappoint. Everything was as described. House was immaculate, location great and contact with owner excellent. Would definitely stay again if in the Carbis Bay area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thanks Bryan and his brother/team.

Little Coombe is a fantastic place to stay in Carbis Bay. It’s well-located, less than ten minutes walk from everything - beach, train station, shops, with fantastic sea views. The property itself is immaculate, very clean, beautifully decorated and a lot of thought has gone into making sure you have everything you could possibly need … as a coffee addict I particularly appreciated having two cafetieres and a Dolce Gusto machine! The washing machine and dishwasher make life easy too. The only caution would be for those with mobility issues as there are six steps up to the property from the parking space, and the stairs to the upstairs bedroom are quite steep. If this is not an issue for you (it wasn’t for us) it will be perfect :) We also appreciated the range of seating options in the well tended gardens, where you can take in the views and listen to the sound of the waves - bliss!

My wife has very high standards and she was extremely impressed when we arrived at Little Coombe. It was immaculate, had everything we needed, very orderly, tidy, clean yet really homely and comfortable. The garden is great, amazing views and lovely and private. We have a dog and the garden has been secured with gates which really put our mind at rest. The location is absolutely fantastic. The beach is literally a 5 minute walk, St Ives is a 25 minute walk, the train station is a 5 minute walk, there are restaurants, a fish & chip shop and Tesco on the main road nearby. We had a fab 2 weeks and definitely will come back. Last bit, the views especially from the upstairs bedroom are fantastic, we didn’t need tide times we simply looked over at Gwithian and could see if the tide was in or out.

Die Lage, die Ausstattung und die gesamte Abwicklung rund um die Buchung waren hervorragend. Das Haus bietet alles, was man sich wünscht. Wir hatten zwei herrliche Wochen dort und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Am Strand ist man in 5 Minuten und der Weg nach St. Ives am Meer entlang ist wunderschön. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu sehen und die Entfernungen sind gering. Gerne wieder!! Danke für Alles!!

Little Coombe holiday

We had a wonderful 6 night stay in Little Coombe. Fabulous location, 5- 10 minute walk to Carbis Bay Beach, or 3 minutes on train to St Ives. Had everything we needed, felt really cosy and enjoyed waking to those Fabulous sea views. Enjoyed my breakfast on patio overlooking sea every morning! Can't wait to return. Thank you to Paul and Lucy who were both very helpful x

Great Week

Little Coombe is a fantastic property, it has everything anyone would need to make a stay in Carbis Bay and surroundings very comfortable. The proximity to golden/white sandy beaches and the lovely St.Ives is right at the top of the list. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely want to visit again in the future. The location definitely improved our fitness!

Amazing Destination and property

Just back from a week at this property . I can honestly say we didnt want to come home . The property itself is amazing and so close to be able to travel around the whole of the south of cornwall . Communication with the owner was spot on . Thank you Brian for allowing people to stay at your wonderfull house . Also thanks again to Paul for your help on the first night when we couldnt work out the hob lol ... Hopefully will be back to stay again .

Lovely property.

Excellent location and easy access despite the Cornish lanes! Very well equipped and furnished with numerous lovely pictures on the walls. Outside area fine with plenty of seating space and a partial sea view. Easy walk down to the lovely beach....not quite so easy back up the hill! St Ives an easy hour's stroll away. All in all a great success and, apart from a small bathroom with rather difficult shower I'd have no hesitation in recommending the property and location.

Was not happy that at 8.55am on day of departure owner on door step wanting to enter to clean property - we had not even left - we were ready to leave but felt pressured - think this is very unacceptable
