Beechwood House

Beechwood House

10/10 Excellent
"We had a lovely 5 night stay here. Location is excellent. We initially planned to stay in St Ives but due to the parking situation decided to stay in Carbis Bay instead. And there is parking spaces at the property as well as on street parking When we checked in , the lady was friendly and helpful The room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was great, had free wifi and fridge was stocked with juice, yoghurts, pastries as well as there being tea and coffee available and milk Location was perfect. It’s a 5/10 min walk from Carbis Bay beach, which is a lovely, chilled out beach that looks absolutely beautiful. We had a wander to the next beach across through a lovely scenic route in the hills Also St Ives is a 3/4 minute train ride from Carbis bay, or a nice Half hour walk Finally there were also some great places to eat nearby, we had an amazing fish and Chips at Becks which is just a few minutes walk away, had a couple of great meals at The Gannet and also picked up some yummy cakes from Yvettes Pantry which was a 10min walk away There is also a Costcutter right next to the property which came in handy, as well as a Tesco roughly 10/15mins away"

"Easy parking with plenty of space. The common area, breakfast space, and bedrooms were exceptionally clean and tidy—easily rival originates with a five-star hotel. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order by the host. While the selection was on the smaller side, it was delicious and served piping hot. When we asked the host for local restaurant and attraction recommendations, the information provided was super clear and reliable."

"Super location within vicinity of a fabulous seaside town, theatre, restaurants and 2 fine beaches (also only 15 min to a very wide breathtaking Hayle beach) , very quiet at night, local parking possible to a good degree on small side roads cosy with nice cottage character, old fire place, little small though, and for 4 (3 kids 1 adult) little challenging, kitchen with good standard, dish washer, washing machine, microwave etc.beds could do with some repairs, a new second more comfy sofa in the lounge f.ex. also would improve comfort"
