Being a solo traveler i just want a room in a good location. Safe and clean easy to walk to the the bars and taxis. You cant beat the price. 2nd time i stayed there. Continental breakfast is free.But instead I had the egg and sausage sandwiches or eggs and home fries. $9 ,$10. Also met so.e other solo travelers. If you are on a budget this is your place

Tamarind Inn was a lovely stay for the two of us. Our room was clean and well appointed. Walkable to the dock. Best part of out stay was the delicious breakfast! Very friendly staff.

It was an amazing stay. Staff in restaurant is helpful and attentive. They brought a singer with good music and vibes. It is very near the ferry walking and safe distance. Air conditioning was good and hot water was excellent. I hope to return again soon.

Great location. Very clean. Nice staff. My only suggestion would be to call ahead and see if the restaurant is open. It was closed while we were there for dinner and we had checked out the menu before we arrived and we’re looking forward to eating there.

New St Croix Resident “stay-cation”

It was very quiet. We were there for a few nights at the end of September. It would have been nice if all of the communications received prior to our stay had mentioned the bar and restaurant would be closed with no breakfast in the mornings. We did not become aware of this until we walked onto the property. It is likely just an automated message guests are sent. The self check-in and check-out were very easy. I would like to stay here again for return trips to St John. It was not a far walk from town. The dolphin market is on a sharp corner less than a quarter mile away, about a 3 minute walk tops. All in all a very serene and lovely stay with everything one could need.
