Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!Whatever you do, please don’t book any properties managed by Bijou Properties - who call themselves “The Happiness Team” - that’s the last thing they are!The actual apartment was just about OK, but a bit shabby and were surprised to discover the 2nd (cubicle) bedroom was not within easy reach of the restroom - it would require unlocking two sets of sliding glass doors to get there!Between booking on Wed and leaving the property on Sunday (we stayed just one night), I received over 24 messages.Being the lowest of low season (hurricane season), I thought they would give me an early check-in - they would not budge, even though the property was clearly empty. They wanted to charge additional funds on what was already a totally overpriced property.I woke up Sunday morning with a message saying that the team had noticed I had arrived with an additional friend and could I clarify this because there would be an additional charge of 75! We had brought a friend back for celebratory birthday drinks before we went out for dinner. I now felt stalked and had no idea there’s a camera at the entrance. It was a very unpleasant feeling wondering if we were being watched.Checkout was equally unfriendly with the threat of charging 500 (yes, you read that right!) for any garbage left at the property.At this point, feeling like we were being watched, threatened with additional fees constantly, we decided to leave the property early and catch an earlier ferry to St
