“Happy Does is a perfect place for a St. John vacation. It is an easy walk into town but also a short drive to all our favorite beaches. The space is beautifully maintained and has everything you need for a great stay. We loved having coffee on the balcony watching the pelicans fish in the harbor below. ”

“Had a great stay. If you are looking for a quiet place away from the town's traffic noise, this is it. Great views of the town below from the terrace/balcony and kitchen. The modern and quiet air conditioning system in the kitchen was enough to cool the whole apartment, but if you need some extra cold, the bedrooms have their own AC. It was a pleasure to chat with the owner and learn about the island and its history.”

“We really enjoyed our stay - from the balcony, there was a wonderful view of the tops of the trees that covered the valley behind the house. We would watch iguanas eating tropical flowers on the treetops and parakeets flying back and forth. The interior was great too, with a great kitchen and comfortable furnishings.”

“St. John is incredible! Our accommodations were great as well. Our host communicated very well and questions were answered in a very prompt, timely manner. We were surprised that the whole house was not air conditioned. I did not see where it was only the bedrooms anywhere in the VRBO listing. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Entry to the house was a few steps from the level parking area (no steps) making it very easy to bring in luggage. “This is the perfect location if you want to be away from it all but still be close to everything. The location was quiet and serene. We loved having coffee on the porch in the morning with the gorgeous view. Every day there were birds singing, cute lizards running about, and hummingbirds in the trees. Most beaches and trails were only about a 15 minute drive. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“We love being in Cruz Bay. Easy walking to restaurants and shops. This unit has a great view of the bay. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean and updated. We used Starfish market grocery delivery. We do not rent a car bc taxis are so easily accessible in town. ”

“Property worked well for our party of 6. However, a house that sleeps 6 should also have comfortable seating for 6 in the living room. And a bit more silverware available. In all, we would enjoy coming back.”
