If you are looking for a beautiful, relaxing get away in Antigua, Hopal's Blissful Vacay is it! The hosts were wonderfully attentive and extremely helpful in answering our questions prior to our arrival and during our stay. The apartment is well appointed, beautifully decorated, and in a great location, close to anything you may need. Hopal's Blissful Vacay is a wonderful, peaceful, welcoming respite after very busy days in Antigua. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cookware if you choose to eat in, and close to restaurants for dining out. If you need a little something to snack on, the host provides a bountiful basket of goodies. We have stayed in VRBO rentals throughout the world, and I can honestly say that this was by far the very best! The photos presented by the host in the listing show exactly what you'll find! No photo-shopping to make things look larger than they are or more vibrant than reality. Hopal's Blissful Vacay is spacious, very clean, and the bed is extremely comfortable, and it is our preferred place to stay in Antigua from now on!
Recommendations have nothing to do with the property, but instead are good to know when visiting Antigua. First, if using currency from the US, bring crisp, "new money." Banks and vendors in Antigua will not take "used" (torn/worn) money. Second, buy plenty of bottled water upon arrival; it is not safe to drink tap water, but it is safe for showering/brushing teeth.
