「Just returned from a second stay, and it was every bit as enjoyable as the first. The cabin is cozy, clean, comfortable, and very well equipped. The beautiful and quiet rural setting is a huge bonus, as is the responsive and helpful host, Ashley. I am already planning a third visit. Highly recommended!」

「I booked this as a surprise anniversary get away! It did not disappoint. The caboose is modern and everything we needed was there. We will absolutely be back. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation, this place is perfect. I read my book, my boyfriend went fishing and we were still spending time together, peacefully. I cannot say enough good things!!!」

「We had a nice time on our vacation. We were looking for a relaxing week away and we got it. The house was smaller than we imagined, but ended up working fine for us. 「We had a lovely time at Hemlock Haven! We spent several days mining for Herkimer diamonds and the cabin was an excellent place to relax after spending the day outside. It is fairly quiet, cozy, and pretty easy to drive to. The hosts had a few extra touches to make it even more welcoming. Definitely recommend for a little R&R!!」

「This cabin is actually a large house with all the modern amenities you could ask for/need to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful inside and out, with extra touches that add to the memories you'll make here. Well worth the stay and would rent again if we come back to the area!」

「My cousin and i enjoyed our stay. Very clean, comfortable beds, very well stocked kitchen. The front stairs were quite daunting! Getting to the front door with our bags took great effort. It did not diminish our enjoyment of the space but i would caution seniors (like us!) And anyone else with mobility or balance issues.」

「House is in a nice location. The pictures were photoshopped on the listing to make the wood appear to be a more modern wood tone than it actually is. Not a huge deal but definitely something I noticed upon arrival. The bath towels provided by the house were bleach stained. No AC in bedrooms. Plant overgrowth on back deck.
