「Issues on day 1 with main floor suite. Numerous serious deficiencies reported same day by text with images and repeated phone calls. Evenetually moved to a quality suite but forced to pay a hefty surcharge. Property management and Expedia were aware from day one. 「Depending on who you book through, there might be a substantial 'cleaning' deposit required. We were informed of the amount and that it had to be paid online while we were in transit. Luckily, we had a layover that allowed us to do this before arriving at the door. There were problems once we arrived that may have been beyond the control of the owners, such as a last minute requirement to put us in a different unit for one night, but these things can and do happen. 「This apartment is absolutely wonderful! It is stylish, comfortable, very clean, and has both a well-stocked kitchen and washer. Excellent location in Sliema and walk to everything. Note there is no lift and you need to turn on the hot water switch before using the shower. Very nice staff available on WhatsApp. Highly recommend!」
