The most generous hotel

Drury might not be a luxury hotel, but it is the most generous and responsible hotel I have ever stayed with. This hotel really complies its aim to create happy customers. In my view, they do it much better than those 4-star and 5-star hotels. Drury offers not only free hot breakfast, but also simple hot dinner (though they called it “snack”). Good coffee is provided at lobby all day. No resort fee. Over night parking is the only extra charge. The parking lot conveniently located to an attached building and is safe. The location is perfect and safe. It locates just next to the aquarium. Staff are friendly and very helpful and they do know how to comply the hotel’s policy (to create happy customers). Our AC in room was out of order at 5AM during hot summer. We were waken up by the heat. We called the front desk, but at that time, they can only sent a big fan up to the room for us, as the maintenance staff would only be available at 8:00. When we checked out, the front desk knew our experience, and told us that they would return what we had paid. They returned the room and parking charges, as well as the deposit right after we checked out. We were impressed with how the hotel's frontline staff handled this issue. We will definitely choose to stay with Drury Hotels. This is the most generous and responsible hotel we ever experienced. They truly care about their customers.

The room and staff was fabulous but was not told they had major interior renovations being done. It was loud full of workers and construction trucks parked everywhere. I paid for the "Best" stay for my daughter, granddaughters and a great grand baby. My health is not well at nearly 70 and wanted it to be special. Which it was not. Pool and hot tub closed. The staff was incredible and evening meal fantastic. I hv no problem with the Drury staff but we would hv stayed at Union Station if we knew ahead. Next time I will research instead of blowing $400 for one night.

The property was clean and food was good, but the cleaning staff knocked on our door at 8am sharp asking if they could clean, they also had construction going on inside the building (loud, cutting and drilling in to metal.) would have been nice to know when we talked to the front desk before booking.

Went here for spring break with my daughter. We had such a great time. The free hot breakfast and kickback are an amazing deal. The pool is great and so are the rooms. The location is AMAZING! Right across the street from Union Station. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

The food was great, the staff was nice. We felt great the whole time we were there. The hotel is undergoing repairs and updating parts, so it was under construction, but glad to see improvements are being made. Our room furnace broke and we were getting heat only in there, it was hot. Then we were moved to another room for a night while they fixed. When they fixed, it was cold only, and the room was freezing, but it was the last room available in the hotel. The pool was extremely cold, which is unfortunate for a small area. Kids were using it as a cold plunge. We really loved the hotel and how historic it was. We will be trying this hotel again because it deserves another chance.

The hotel was very clean but it smells old. It didn't affect my stay but it could use some updating. However, the staff was absoluting amazing and helpful. My son said it's pretty cool and we should visit again. Drury will be my first choice wherever I travel. They serve breakfast and dinner. They didn't mind me asking for extra to take for lunch the next day. The hotel is across the street from Union Station and the Aquarium. The metro is just across the parking lot of Union Station. We used it on two days. We stayed from Saturday- Wednesday. We hope to visit again!

I stayed at Drury Inn and had a mixed experience. The staff was very nice and welcoming, and the extras offered were a great touch and definitely appreciated. However, there were several issues that made the stay disappointing. The hot tub and pool were both freezing and essentially unusable. The bed was clearly made up of two twin mattresses pushed together instead of a proper queen, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep on. The room was also very cold when we arrived, and although maintenance did fix it, it wasn’t until the following day. There was also a lot of noise due to construction. During breakfast, the noise was so loud I couldn’t even hear my 5-year-old speak, and it visibly startled another child nearby. We also woke up to construction noise, likely from a room next to or very close to ours. Overall, while the staff and extras were great, the lack of comfort, noise, and maintenance issues made the stay frustrating.

The room was very clean and everything in the room was updated. It is nice to see a property continually improving and they had several projects underway. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Something on property irritated my allergies and made my eyes burn every day but I am very sensitive to many indoor things so I'm not sure what set them off.
