Great location, cool modern property
Overall, this property has everything needed for a great vacation. You are walking distance to Jan Thiel beach and plenty of restaurants/shopping. Communication with the property manager and owner was excellent. Beds were comfortable and they provide all the basics.
Only downside of our stay is one of the upstairs bathrooms had an awful mildew/ammonia smell and the shower would not properly drain. There is evidence of previous water damage which probably contributed to the smell. It essentially reduced usable showers for 2 adults and 2 kids to 1 which was not ideal but we made it work. We were told that the plan is to renovate that bathroom in coming weeks so future travelers shouldn’t have an issue.
For those that have a strong interest in great snorkeling, most of the great spots are roughly 1 hour west. Just keep that in mind if time is limited. We don’t mind the drive, but we spent most of our time at those beaches as opposed to Jan Thiel where visibility and fish are limited.
Overall it is a beautiful property and with an updated bathroom, we would certainly stay again.
