A fun family vacation in Indian Rocks Beach is exactly what you need and this newly updated 2-bed, 1.5-bath unit is calling your name! With sleeping accommodations for 4 guests, the 'Windward on the Gulf' vacation rental cottage is ideal for families (4 ppl) looking to soak up the Florida sun while dipping their toes in the sand just steps from their home-away-from-home! Not only is the cozy accommodation right by the beach, it's also within walking distance of dining and shopping!

If you're looking for a charming accommodations just 60 steps from the beach, this fully remodeled cottage is exactly where you should stay! Step inside ‘Windward on the Gulf’ lined with Italian porcelain tile to find yourself surrounded by modern coastal decor, plush furnishings, and that vacation atmosphere!

Drop your bags and lounge on the cozy couch after your day of travels. Watch a show on the flat-screen cable TV while the chef in the family heads to the fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and quartz counter-tops to prepare a hearty meal!

Set the food up buffet-style at the breakfast bar, dish up, then take a seat to savoir your meal at the dining table. Head outside for a post-meal stroll along the pristine Gulf shore. Feel the soft white sand beneath your feet as you get lost in the beauty of the setting sun!

We had the best time; the rental was very clean and well decorated. Only a few minutes to the water. Fully stocked. We have this rental saved because we liked it so much; it will be our official IRB rental. The owners were available immediately for a few questions we had; very responsive and friendly! Best Vacation Ever!

The cottage is immaculate, adorable, and has everything you need! It includes all the comforts of home and everything you need for the beach. The home is located near restaurants, shops, attractions. Yet, the beach doesn’t get too crowded and is just steps from the door. Be sure to try the alligator at Crabby Bills and the ice cream at IRB Creamery.

Great space so close to the beach all the extras you may need cooler, chairs, umbrellla! Only issue all week was the water pressure was none existant. Very easy to overlook in such a great place! Would definately stay there again!

Wonderful Beachfront Vacation

Rhina and Jim were lovely hosts and communicated everything about their property accurately, in fact the location was even better than I anticipated! I loved sitting on the porch where I could see the water, when we needed a break from the beach. The weather was impeccable, in the 80’ for an April Vacation getaway. I especially loved that there were all the beach supplies we could want, and the dining recommendations were great too! Thanks again for having us and would love to stay at your property the next time we visit Indian Rocks Beach!

Fun at the beach

We had a great time. The location is great. Literally steps from the beach. The condo was clean and has all the beach items you could need/want. My poor husband had a difficult time sleeping in the bed. Once both of us were in the bed, you would roll to the middle. I slept just fine :)

Very close to beach

Overall very good stay. The condo is very close to the beach and within walking distance to restaurants. We did not rent a car while we were there so we utilized the trolly and Ubers. It would have been easier to have a car but if you are trying to save money you can make do without one. The place was very clean and had plenty of towels and linens. It was very convenient to have laundry in the unit as well. The beach was not very crowded for July.

Quaint cottage within seconds of the beach. Peaceful quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Beautiful sunsets. Cottage had everything from beach towels to beach chairs and umbrellas. Definitely would come back 💕☀️🌴🏖️

Family Beach Trip

The Ideal Find

No wonder the hosts are considered premier hosts. Everything was geared towards welcoming us as their guests, e.g., prompt responses to our inquiries, thoroughness with communication, providing kitchen 'staples', allowing use of the washer and dryer, and providing beach chairs and towels (packing was a breeze). The cottage was exactly as shared though no listing can adequately share how relaxed and comfortable we felt. The location is ideal with the beach steps away and several restaurants and shops within an easy walk. If you want more to do you're a short drive away from Clearwater and St. Petersburg. Thank you for a lovely relazed stay!
