Walkable to Main Street

The Anchor House is located two blocks from the heart of Safety Harbor just minutes from the Pier, the Marina, Starbucks, the famous Safety Harbor Spa, as well as many boutiques and antique stores. A variety of locally owned restaurants line Main Street and all are just steps from the Anchor House.

The Anchor House is 20 minutes from Tampa International Airport and some of the area's most famous beaches. Walking and biking trails, plus various water activities are all within walking distance.

The Anchor is freshly painted with recently restored terrazzo floors that are indicative of old Florida. Our seaside decorated home sleeps 5; we have 2 bedrooms with new pillow-top queen beds plus a choice of pillows to meet your sleeping comfort. Linens are 1000 count. A futon is available in the den. The bathroom is tiled with a single vanity brightly lit. The white linens show off the flamingo pink tile surrounding the tub and shower. Cable TV with major networks plus ESPN channels and Wi-Fi are available. A flatscreen 42 inch Smart TV is in the living area with a DVD player and a flatscreen 24 inch Smart TV in the bedroom. Music lovers will enjoy the AM FM radio with a CD player. A gas grill, washer, dryer, microwave, stove, refrigerator, Cuisine coffee brewer, blow dryer, ironing board, and iron complete the appliances available for your use and convenience. No dishwasher, so plenty of paper products are available. The kitchen is well supplied.

You will find the two andirondeck chairs in front of the Anchor comfortable sitting on a lovely Florida eve. The very large back yard offers privacy and serenity. The Anchor House is located on quiet street in a friendly neighborhood which adds to the comfort of your stay.

On arrival you will be ready for the beach, for your convenience you will have a beach umbrella, chairs, towels and a cooler so you can be on your way.

Two bicycles are also available for your use. The Ream Wilson trail connects with the Bayshore Boulevard Trail which is just two blocks away.

Three offstreet parking spaces are available.

So drop your sails and anchor down in this cozy bayside town. The Anchor House will meet all of your vacationing needs. Come and enjoy your stay; you will be pleased.

Spring Fun

We enjoyed our time at The Anchor. The place is decorated very nicely. Well furnished. Couple blocks from the beach. It has everything one needs for beaching. It was quiet. Morning and afternoon school traffic for awhile so one would want to depart before it starts. Concerns were carpet in sunroom was a major tripping hazard which we resolved. Kitchen drawer needs work before it falls out and some cabinet doors wouldn’t stay closed. We enjoyed and are grateful for our time spent at The Anchor and look forward to a future stay.

Perfect little getaway

We stayed here because we were getting some construction down on our house. We loved the proximity to downtown and the pier. My 5 year old loved the flamingo bed and being able to walk to all the places, including 3rd Friday. Carole was super responsive and my daughter loved the little surprise she left. If you're looking for a little bit of Old Florida in a cute, quiet neighborhood-- you found it!

Anchor House

Lovely location and Carole is a delight to work with! Having brought my younger children here I am giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars because there were some safety concerns with young kids. The microwave table is incredibly wobbly and the peach bed is up on bricks which made me nervous. Other than that, this place is great!

Cute, great location in a amazing little town!

I live locally about 15 minutes away from the town of safety Harbor. My father came to visit and we decided to do a staycation. The house was perfect for us. The town was even more perfect. We walked, biked, and ate at some of the best restaurants. We will be coming back.
