We had a lovely stay with beach walks and exploring the island! Lots of fresh seafood, local history and a spa visit — recommended by our property mgr., rounded out our stay. There was good parking and elevator access, when needed. The pool was beautiful, although we didn’t use it due to the chilly temps; it was not heated. The hot tub had a sign saying it was not working, although the water was warm and the jets came on; we did not inquire w/the office. The main tv was a bit wonky at first, but once we realized it was unplugged we got some response, and the next morning it worked fine. We couldn’t find any instructions to access, but eventually figured it out. The unit was clean and the beds comfy. Lots of extra towels! The interior hallway to come and go was nice, given the chilly mornings & evenings. Walking to the Pier shops/restaurants was great (1.4 miles); a shop .3 from the complex also rented bikes. The beach was wide and easy to walk on; you could go 1.5 miles east and west on the firm sand for a 6-mile RT. I didn’t notice any shells, but that could have been timing. It was dog friendly. We’d def return w/this sized group of 4 adults.
