Perfect Beach Cottage

We loved our stay at Hamilton Cottage! The house is so nice and in a great location. We are a family of five and had more than enough room. The bedrooms were so cozy and the house was stocked with everything that we needed. We hope to return on our next visit to SSI!

Beautiful stay

Amazing home, location and close to everything. We loved our stay and the home had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back. Our only suggestion would be beach chairs need to be updated as are rusted but aside from that we were very happy with everything! Thank you we will be back

Perfect stay

We enjoyed our first time at St Simons. The house was close to the beach. We had beach access and our private pool, that was heated. The house had all of the accommodations that we would need for the stay. We loved the country charm of the houses. Stores were close by to our house too. We will definitely be back again. Our experience with the host was great too; communication was beyond expected.

Family beach trip!

We had a great time at Hamilton Cottage. From ages 4 to 80 it was a great house and great location! We did call to get in 30 min early because we had stopped for groceries. They were not able to let us in. It was very hot and would've been nice to have access to a freezer.

The property is great! The place was spotless. Two problems: The front steps are no level. They tilt downward. This makes it harder to go the steps, Also , the shower downstairs' is backwards. When you turn on the shower the hot water comes out first to get the cold watet you have to turn the shower all the way to the left.

Over all was very good. The half bath down stairs was locked, so we couldn’t use it.

Overall, we really enjoyed this house! The bunk room and adjoining kids playroom was perfect for our kids. Two of the bedrooms are quite small, especially if you need to fit a pack n play for infants. We would have loved to see more kitchen essentials stocked (an extra roll of paper towels, etc.). We noticed the sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms never had hot water when needed, but the showers were fine. We also really appreciated how the house had plenty of beach towels for use, and loved the outdoor seating. You can’t beat the walk to the beach and pool!
