Excellent stay

Stayed at this great property with family and friends who were in the area for my son's wedding at Sea Island. The property was spacious, well furnished and as advertised. We enjoyed the pool and the dock, and cooking shared meals in the huge kitchen. Overall we had a great vacation there!

Fishing off the dock - marsh breezes - two blocks to ocean - pool with a view - a cook's dream kitchen, bike path in front of the house - BEAUTIFUL house with comfy beds. Hodnett Cooper Concierge service made checking in, pre check in grocery delivery :), everything easy. Best VRBO stay ever!

Fabulous Property - Definitely Will Return

Rented this house to celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary and it did not disapoint. Beautuful views in an amazing location allowing you to take advantage of the intracoastal and at the same time have easy walking access to the beach. We had 8 adults and 3 kids under 7 and this spacious home's great layout gave everyone plenty of space and comfort. Really enjoyed the dock for fishing, crabbing, and kayaking and having the ability to heat the pool when we had 3 straight days of rain/cooler temps. Bar area, dedicated ice maker, and pre-arrival grocery delivery were all great bonuses and Carey at Hodnett Cooper was extremely responsive. Look forward to coming back!

Spacious enough for 6 adults, one toddler and a newborn

The house was very comfortable, and we loved the outdoor amenities (pool and dock). It's also such a short walk to the beach. Would highly recommend.

Great family vacation

This is a wonderful property for families with children. The pool was great, the fishing, crabbing and kayaking were fun for all. We were a short walk to the beach and they had bicycles and beach chairs for guests. The kitchen was well-equipped with all we needed. Plenty of bathrooms!

The dock was the highlight!

We had an amazing 4 night stay on St Simon Island. This property was perfect for our 4 families and small dog. The room with the bunk beds was very spacious. The beach is a short 5 minute walk which was just right for all the little ones. The dock, gourmet kitchen and family room is where all the memories were made. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and had the opportunity to catch the full moon glistening on the marsh. The customer service provided by Carey Bird (Hodnett Cooper Vacation Homes) was first class. If you are looking for an amazing vacation home in this area stop the search and book this one.

Great Family Get away

My entire extended family totaling 9 adults and two small Yorkie terriers recently vacationed on St. Simon's Island for 9 days. The property and management firm could not have been better. There are always some issues with any rentals, but any small problems we have were quickly remedied by the staff of Hodnett Cooper.The house is large and has a floor plan perfect for a large group to be together. All the bedrooms are off the main living and kitchen area, except the loft bedroom. The pool is wonderful and the pier is also a great place to sit out on and relax, meditate, read, or just look out over the marsh. It's always breezy and quiet out there. I cannot recommend the house more. Beautiful, comfortable and very quiet

Perfect house for multiple families

We had an amazing trip down to St. Simon's and this house was perfect for 4 families. The kids loved the fishing dock and we were a short walk to the beach. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed-- except a gas grill would be nice for next year when we come! Because we plan to make this a tradition for us! Thank you!
